Well, they’ve had fifteen managers (including ‘caretaker’) in the time that Jim has been manager of Morecambe, so that proves how successful swapping manager is.

Didn’t Freez and/or Glen Cooper apply for the Lancaster City or Southport vacancy once upon a time? Don’t think they got an interview but it would have made the shortlisting more interesting. I once won a Subbutio tournament with a 1-0-0-10 attacking formation, perhaps I should apply to Hartlepool? It does rely on a good goalkeeper & the long ball, but what do they have to lose?

As a joke I twice applied for the Blackpool job and received letters from a Mr O Oyston turning me down. I then applied for the England job when they sacked Glen Hoddle, but was turned down due to a lack of top flight experience.

Brian Clough once applied for the Morecambe job and was turned down due to a lack of experience! To square the circle, I think I’m right in saying, he went to Hartlepool instead!

Ah,yes but Keith had 10 in attack with only the goalie playing hoofball. We haven't tried that one yet!

But when is a hoofball a hoofball? Is it only a hoofball when hit in a straight forward line or does it require greater finesse to hit it on the diagnol?
