What I meant, was we played well in tough conditions. :D
More of the same on Tuesday please!

Thought the lads played well today, poor weather conditions for both teams but thought our lads put in a shift and got rewarded with 3 pts.
Would be great to take this into Tuesday night and get something from that game as well.

Almost good results around us but 3 pts today helps us massively in our aim for FL status next season
Well done lads

Far from a classic but at this stage of our season, who cares... :?:

Before the game i'm sure many of us would have taken a point but all 3 is bloody marvellous..so that's the first part of the 9 on offer this week.

As I posted previously, this week is the most important of this and a few past seasons. Continue to get behind the lads even if we go a goal down and the ref performs like a 12th man for the opposition and we collectively can do this.... :) :) :)

Must congratulate Accy on another win closer to promotion and possibly the title.

In previous seasons we've followed Stanley and we've replicated what they did, the following season.

Good omen.... :?: :?: :?:

Bollocks...my concern has, is and will be about the affordability of EFL unless we get some new investment.

If we don't then what then.... :?: :?: :?:

I'm sure we'd like your thoughts on that....rather than the usual trivia we have to endure.

Didn't notice any clothes as goalposts today....

Maybe you could concentrate on today's match and give us the pleasure of your wisdom...or lack of...

we looked hungry for the win today, closed them down all over the pitch, was worried when Jim made the changes though.

good ref to spot the foul on Roche, but we earned the win today, with the whole side putting in a shift. :D

Well Jim and Co's midweek trip to watch Exeter v Yeovil certainly paid off with a much needed and hard fought win in bloody freezing weather. All credit to all those who attended, just a pity that the club didn't go for some special deal to encourage folk to attend all of our 3 in a row home games.

If you mean the one from a corner just before half time it was disallowed because Moxey put it in with his hand and he was rightly booked.

Mark was spot on, if a few days late. Thanks Mark (but not for talking over Stevie :x  ).
Great end to the birthday week: 3 points in both leagues. :D

They can't have too many promotions per season that won't benefit season ticket holders. I personally wouldn't mind but EFL rules are rules. Plus it is risky in this weather just look how the postponed game affected the last promotion.

Well after two good performances resulting in a loss and a draw, the lads put in another shift and were justly rewarded with 3 points. The wind and freezing temperature must have been tough to play in (it was bad enough to be stood in all wrapped up  ), but we really wanted it. Those who were there played their part and really got behind the lads in the second half.

I walked away thinking of the difference between Saturday and the Port Vale game back in October. We just look more solid as a unit and it was brilliant to see McGurk and Lang playing up front off their defenders for most of the second half. More of the same please Jim!!! :D

We came away saying it was the most enjoyable game of the season so far. Every lad put in a great shift. Brilliant to see such a strong and competent front four who kept their defenders busy all game, Virtually no hoofball, lots of passing on the ground, lots of clever forward passing and all in very poor conditions. Jim got the team selection, formation and tactics absolutely spot on. More of it please and we're safe from relegation.

....and yet when the changes up front were made we seemed to loose impetus enabling their midfield to take control for the remaining minutes which was worrying.
