Perhaps that is WHY we're losing so much, because we're not doing the 'little' things right (such as advertising games)? If we got the little things right, then perhaps we'd see the big problems being reduced?

Aren't we likely to alienate regulars/st holders if we arbitrarily move them to other seats? I know I wouldn't be too impressed to arrive only to be told my seats are now in the middle of a front or back row after it's taken me a few years to snap up the central end of row seats in one of the best middle rows in the c block, for which I regard as one of the benefits of being a s/t holder (i.e. guarantee of the seats I want) and for which I'm happy to pay a premium. If I was liable to be moved, then I don't think I'd buy a s/t and would just pay for the games I attended, which would be less revenue to the club. Quite simply, I pay for the s/t for the guaranteed seat, even though I don't attend all games - for me it's worth paying more.

mrpotatohead wrote:I never mentioned c premium. ..they already get section a so b as well and the Berlin Wall was all I was suggesting.

We currently pay £838 per season for s/t between us in prem c. If we ran the risk of being shunted around on a whim, then I simply wouldn't bother paying that kind of money - we're already on a knife edge whether to bother given the poor entertainment. There's an awful lot of money being paid by block c and prem c s/t holders that the club would be crazy to risk for just a couple of hundred extra away supporters bringing in only a few k once in a while. After all, the club didn't even take away the black covering from B block for the Newcastle game nor the end of season Southend game. The Berlin wall, yes, but to mess around with the PMG block would cause more alienation and less revenue in the long term.
Just out of interest, how do you practically make your "half and half" idea work given the constraints of the blocks etc in the PMG. You're keen to rubbish opposing views, but havn't actually given us a realistic and workable method of giving Carlisle half the PMG?
