Due to rainfall throughout the late morning and further rain forecast throughout the day the referee has postponed today’s SkyBet League 2 fixture versus Cambridge United.

Further details regarding ticketing and rescheduling will be announced in due course.

Perfect results for us today. Barnet, FGR and Grimsby lost. Crewe and Port Vale drew with each other. Couldn't have been any better.

Good day for us and get todays game played on a better evening surface and the game off could be a blessing in disguise.

Can't see Accy slipping up now BUT really do fear for their ground and safety regs in EFL 1. With Sunderland looking doomed for the drop to EFL 1 can you only imagine the fun they will have at Stanley.

Accy have just got planning permission for a new stand down the Cowshed side.

They have a chairman that actually responds to tweets from fans , their own fans and fans of other clubs. We don't even have "Notes From The Boardroom" in the matchday magazine now !

Jim's thoughts on calling the game off is on the OWS.

Sounds like the pitch was OK early morning but the downpour left the ref with no alternative other than to call it off.

Interestingly across the Bay, the Barrow game was also a casualty which shows how bad the weather was throughout the Bay area and even today it's still pouring down which makes it over 24 hours almost non stop.

I still believe that the club was correct in it's early assessment that the game would go ahead but the unexpected downpour changed the situation. Normal rain we could have coped with but it was exceptional and there are areas of flooding in South Lakes today.
