Chesterfield bottom of the league    .....knowing how we usually perform against teams below us    ...too close to call, but a point would be welcome although three would be ideal.

So far we've had a 'nervous' and a 'not over confident'. Whilst I understand this it is not what we need from the fans. This is a very big game and if the Team feels the same we are sunk :( . Vital that the Team, the fans, everybody shows some confidence for this one. We can do it but only if we believe we can :D

This is a vital game. A huge game. So, ever the pessimist, I'll go for a 1-2 defeat.

We will destroy them 3 or 4 nil, virtually guaranteeing survival much to the disgruntlement our "luddites and flat earth society" fans who want regression :)

0 - 0. Hope i'm wrong and we go at them from the off, but of late it's been about not losing. Risky tactics if that's how we approach tonight.

This is a must-win game if ever there was one. Please Jim, send the lads out to give 'em hell.

Morecambe 3 - 0 Chesterfield

Ever the optimist...

As for Mrs A, she's not going 2-1! :o 1-1 instead tonight, the pessimist.

Dreading tonight, we know we always lose to the struggling sides. I can't put a loss though. 2-1 win

Not a lot of confidence! I fear us setting up to keep it tight, which will allow them to grow in confidence. As much as it is a 'must win' for us, it is a 'really must win' for them, so they may well come and attack us.

On the other hand, we've been playing some decent football at times recently, and although we capitulated once we'd gone behind on Saturday, for the first half, I thought we played pretty well. If either of Kev's chances had gone in, we'd have grown in to it. The woodwork and a world class save were the difference. If we can get an early goal, we could go on to win comfortably. The longer it goes on without us scoring, the more chance of losing.

In other words... I've got no idea!

3-0 and happy ShrimpsVoices tonight! :D :D :D
