Get In!!!

What a well worked free-kick! Winnard knocked the ball in to the area, Rose took a couple of touches, then crossed for Thommo to head in. :D

Two poor pieces of defending by Chesterfield and Lang refusing to give up, he played a nice 1-2 with Thommo, who played him in with just the keeper to beat! 2-0! :D :D :D

We're going to pieces  They could have had three in five minutes. Can't decide if we were trying to keep it tight or if they've upped their game in the second half. Either way, we need to re-gain control pretty quickly.

Getting completely out-played by the bottom club in the league. We'll be lucky to get a point the way we're playing now. Dreadful second half.

Starting to think I slept through the wrong half.

Me at the minute!

We've improved a bit over the last few minutes, but still looking dodgy and giving the ball away cheaply. I'd take a point at the moment. We're wasting time and slowing the game down, they are chasing everything. They think they can win this, we look happy with a point. Right now, I'd take one.

The commentary team appear to think we've played well. I felt first half we were by far the better side, but second half they were better than us. A draw would appear to be fair but at 2-0, in the second half, I felt they were most likely to score and at 2-1, I felt they were likely to equalise, so wasn't surprised when they did.

2-2 full time. Not a disaster.

Not a great result after leading 2-0 but the teams around us need to do something special to get past us

A game of 2 halves.
At the end we looked liked we had settled for a draw, nizic was dropping on the ball and holding on to it.

That might the folk who were chanting " the shrimps are staying up " something to think about,
don't be chanting songs like that until we are stopping up, that's just tempting fate

Assuming it's the manager who determines the way we play well if that is the case tonight how we got away with it is beyond me. Constant hoof balls out of defence to none of our players which allowed chesterfield to gather up the ball and then play it on the deck resulting in them getting deservedly back into the game which left us hanging on.

JImbo's style will never encourage fans to return. If we play like we did tonight against Carlisle then it could be a bloody massacre.

And that is exactly why we have drawn so many games. Jim loves to draw and the time wasting is now embarrassing.

We were wasting time right from the off,the only aim seems to be not to lose! battling performance from the players.still not safe.if we stay up jim needs to change his attitude especially at home because that is why we have lost support of that there is no doubt,i hope he does not get another contract!

The mind boggles! Timewasting from the off at home against the worst team in the league!!! Outplayed in the first half but amazingly two nil up. Second half they make two substitutons at the start to alter the game. We almost score a third then, they press and press and we hang on for a point and the manager is happy!!! Don't know the attendance, but again was poor. Who can blame people for not wanting to come and watch our style of football. But as ever our manager is the greatest thing since sliced bread. We WILL be outnumbered by the Cumbrians on saturday and the regular season ticket holders are shunted off their terrace to accomodate them! Charming as ever
Don't worry be happy!
