So nearly twice ours!!

Seem's that a lot of the wages are made up by a incentive performance bonus scheme, they've won promotion and been rewarded?

I rather the trust start saving up for when the inevitable happens if not this summer then maybe next summer. I think it won't be long before we are up the Creek again and it would be good to have a contingency pot to be able to help out where possible.

Yes, we all understand and know the reasons why things won't / can't be done.

However, it was stated 12 months ago that work would start which everyone was pleased about. Then we've heard nothing since.

If you're going to announce that work will be starting on a cover and then it doesn't without an explanation you can't blame people for asking what's going on and citing this as an example of the poor communication from the club.

Spot on. Perhaps my methods are antagonising, but I can’t help getting annoyed that we are told one thing then radio silence after. Just because the boards money is the only thing keeping us afloat. Doesn’t mean I believe they are handling everything well. They aren’t unaccountable or untouchable. If anything. Having their finger on the money makes them even more accountable.

Have to agree. "The Board" had about £10 million or so when they sold Christie Park, but made some very poor decisions about how to spend it, and subsequently, leaving the club in massive debt and losing £700k per year. "The Board" have to accept most of the responsibility for the current state of the club.
