Glad to see some sense. York had Jon Parkin playing alongside him and it made no difference. They needed him to step up in their relegation battle, he disappeared and they got relegated.

By all accounts we wanted to sign in the January transfer windows last season. Jim and Co obviously saw something in him but it beggars me what it was.
I stupidly thought he would come good but he and the other close season striker signing need to be moved out....but on 2 year deals it's unlikely unless new investment into our club pays them off.
just like most of us are! He looks like Danny Welbeck but plays like Danny DevittoGeorge Dawes wrote:I rate him, I said in pre-season I hope when the season starts we don't play him upfront on his own, he'll just get isolated.
I bet he's pisssed off.

Trouble all his headers are non directional so having somebody alongside him seems pointless unless they got into his mind set to understand what he's trying to do.
His record at other clubs is not that good and I recall York fans delighted when he left for ourselves.
Initially I was very supportive of him but enough. Is enough....

Indeed. He’s got a head like a sherrif’s badge and it rarely goes where you expect it to. He’s actually better when it comes to his chest or feet as he’s strong enough to hold the ball up and lay it off.
