Our Moment of Truth.....

Our Moment of Truth.....

Postby sandgrown » Fri Apr 27, 2018 7:22 pm

has arrived, will we be relegated for the first time in our proud history ?

or will the team deliver the goods at the 12th hour ?

either way, as long as they give it thier all tomorrow we will succeed.

lets hope the team play with pride and passion and we give them all the support we can muster !

We will stay up. Regroup in the summer, sort out the off field problems and push for promotion next season

After all the shit he has had to put up with since becoming boss, Jim deserves a chance to show what he can do with a reasonable budget ,if we get sorted with new owners, he has kept us in the league against all the odds year in year out, he is a club legend and I think a bit of hush from his detractors is needed at the moment, so STFU!

I just hope the Club has gone the extra mile tomorrow and tried to get things in place to boost the atmosphere.

After dragging us through the crap season after season, with him and his players repeatedly not paid and not knowing what the future holds, yet despite this, giving 100% all the time, and unearthing talent like Barhouzen (sp?) and now Lavelle, I think that if a new owner came in with some cash, then he’s earned a season to develop a squad on an equal footing with the rest of League Two!

If you could pick a club that you had to avoid defeat against to stay up you wouldn't pick say Accrington , Luton , Wycombe(despite beating them twice) Notts County etc etc

Barnet have a shocking away record this season even under Martin Allen. Play like we did against Cambridge and we can do it.

The Trust has purchased red balloons at the request of the fans,if anyone wants to collect some from the info point in JB's and pass them around fans near where you stand/or sit would be a great help.COYS

Agree, it was a struggle all the way - AJ although having a great season , was particularly pressued in that game, by a very tricky player whos name escapes me, hope we can pressure more going forward and keep them occupied in the other half for the greater part of the game

Campbell Ryce ripped us apart, scored an awesome goal while AJ stood and watched. Hes at Carlisle now

Agree with this to a point.

Agree with this to a point.

However you mention talent, when Jim had Barkauizen and Home Attendees were crying out for goals he was often ignored or played Barky in a defensive position just like Amond who also was pushed out wide away from goal where both players exactly need to be, they have proved how dangerous they are Infront of goal.

And all due respect to Jim, doing this is bringing it on himself and why there's fans in there hundreds like parkyboy.

I hope the management team can cast aside their negativity and pick a team that will press Barnet from the off rather than us defending in numbers from the start and inviting pressure. Lets go for a win. The club history will look unfavourably on Jimbo and McKenna if they become the first people to take us to relegation. Okay there have been massive problems off the pitch but this squad contains enough quality to avoid the drop.

Our moment of truth not only in the result but in the way the town and all former regulars turn out to support the lads....or not

IF the gate is around the 1250 then for me the town and former regulars have deserted its club which suggests that Morecambe doesn't deserve an EFL club or even a National League club.

I along with quite a few others travel from out of town to all home games but come what may we will continue to support our uaclub and refuse to see it follow in the footsteps of other former FL clubs through lack of our support.

Too many of us have grown up knowing only MFC as the team to watch on a regular basis despite the proximity of more so called illustrious clubs. A town like Morecambe has suffered over the years through self inflicted wounds.

NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR OUR CLUB TO FALL INTO THAT CATEGORY. GET BEHIND THE LADS. TOGETHER WE CAN DO THIS. COYS..... :!: :!: :!:

Would love to see 2,000+ at the ground but i doubt it will happen. It's all about this game today a result that could have far reaching implications for the clubs future! COYS

Nope, Jim set up to draw yet again and, inevitably yet again caught with his trousers down and no plan B.

Well, the town did indeed turn out, and yet again were left disappointed by negative tactics and a generally poor show. It's a wonder we get the hardcore thousand or so every game to be honest.

Jim's emotional tonight!!!!! Didn't say a lot which was a bonus. I just hope he actually manages to secure our football league future. Then he can walk away from our club with a modicum of respect from our long suffering supporters. We x need look forward to a positive future then. Managers come and go but as a fan I'm here forever
