I’ve defended Jim all season but you’re absolutely right.
Second half we effectively had no midfield. Rose was abjectly awful from start to finish and Kenyon was protecting the defence. Campbell tried to play the killer pass and made some good runs but was our only outlet. We put Wylde on who went out wide but didn’t seem to know where he was playing, so no player in the middle bar Rose, who was woeful.
All of a sudden no one to play the ball. So only option was to lump the ball up to McGurk, who was utter shite all game and couldn’t trap a wet bag of cement; Lang who is tiny against their huge defenders; and Kev who was livid with his team mates throughout the game but couldn’t direct a header. We need a ball to run on to but there was no one to play it.
Utterly awful tactics, formation and performances from half a dozen players. No leadership on the pitch either. We got what we deserved.

If CC is correct about what he saw and we were actually instructed to play this way then words fail.me.
