The formation is terrible. I mentioned it last week. The gap between defence and attack is 20 to 30 yards. I have never seen anything like it in my life.

We looked like a team with nothing to play for, already on the plane to sunnier lands. No passion or commitment shown from a team that should be fighting for their lives. Why is our loanee Callum Lang always the one that looks the most motivated even though he won't be playing non league football next season?

I can't believe we played so poorly today it seemed like we were playing for another 0 0 from the off, our strikers didn't get a sniff and we didn't make their keeper work in the whole 95 minutes, no passion no tactics no ideas we got what we deserved - NOTHING and after thinking we would be safe for the last few weeks I now feel the writing is on the wall next week unless we can put in some sort of performance at Coventry, who will need a point to guarantee a play off place.
I now fear the worst for our club !!

I don’t agree with those who say the players didn’t try. The effort was there, just not the end product.

Today and Tuesdays game typified our season. Enough effort and honest hard work but a lack of quality and cutting edge. We could have had an extra 20 minutes of added time of Baz lofting it up to everyone in the Barnet box and we wouldn’t have scored.

Sorry to say it but I think we might go down. We’ve had a lot of bad luck this season but equally, we’ve had our opportunities to secure our league status and we haven’t been good enough to take them.

We can look forward to renewing aquaintencies in the world of non league! Used to enjoy t the Lancashire junior Cup matches! I just hope we have an attack minded team and management trying to negotiate our way back to the football league. But sadly I doubt It as ours current regime will still be in place. Oh well soon be back at the giant axe JB will be forever in our history in a unique position  :( :(

Old, Lavelle and Rochey played OK, the rest were poor, very very poor. I think the will to win and desire was there but not the ability. We struggled to string two passes together and if we'd got out of that with a 0-0 it would have been a travesty on Barnet who at least had several players who could play a bit.

The writings on the wall I'm afraid, can't see Barnet not beating Chesterfield and on current form we would need a massive slice of luck to get anything at Coventry.

Jim was a disgrace today. When Barnet scored, he just stood there licking his wounds for 10 minutes. No passion, no directing the players, no nothing. Then after final whistle, couldn't be bothered to come onto the pitch - just sulked off down the tunnel. Despite all his whinging about lack of support, the people of Morecambe turned out today, yet again to be served up the usual drivel of poor formation, mindless substitutions, etc. Walk away Jim, the club needs a change.

I’ve defended Jim all season but you’re absolutely right.

Second half we effectively had no midfield. Rose was abjectly awful from start to finish and Kenyon was protecting the defence. Campbell tried to play the killer pass and made some good runs but was our only outlet. We put Wylde on who went out wide but didn’t seem to know where he was playing, so no player in the middle bar Rose, who was woeful.

All of a sudden no one to play the ball. So only option was to lump the ball up to McGurk, who was utter shite all game and couldn’t trap a wet bag of cement; Lang who is tiny against their huge defenders; and Kev who was livid with his team mates throughout the game but couldn’t direct a header. We need a ball to run on to but there was no one to play it.

Utterly awful tactics, formation and performances from half a dozen players. No leadership on the pitch either. We got what we deserved.

I am glad that somebody else has noticed it. We have no midfield at all. I would love someone to question him on it. I would like to see it get the Monday Night Football treatment. It is beyond belief.

Ive said this many a time, about asking more challenging questions.

Imagine Liverpools most dangerous player Mohamed Salah being played at R/B and what the reaction would be?

Sammy got hammered for sulking in the dug out towards the end and Jim is doing the same. Martin Allen gave a masterclass in dragging your players along today. The little team talks when there was a break in play whilst Jim sat on his phone being told what to do by Ken. Allen kicked everything and pushed his team to get that winner. Jim sulked, blamed CC and let himself down.

I have just got home after an 80 mile trip to Morecambe. I am still totally baffled by what I saw today. I expected, given our situation, a team prepared to work themselves into the ground. No chance! If you play Rose and Kenyon you are effectively saying that the priority is not losing which throws a lot of pressure on all the players knowing that a single mistake can be costly. The result is what happened today. The players looked as though they were frightened to have the ball and wanted to get it as far as possible as quickly as possible. If you are setting out to play hoofball the start with Oliver up front. At least when he came on he won a few in the air.
I thought that Baz and the defence had good games. Kenyon did a good holding job as usual. Rose, Campbell, Ellison and McGurk gave us nothing today.
Given that we tend to play better against good sides then we will probably get a point at Coventry. COYS

For what it's worth it was myself who had a go at our manager post game and I told him without swearing that toady was down to his negativity yet again. He obviously didn't like it because he rounded on me with a few choice words, no doubt in anger which is fine, I've no problem with that. But I along with more than a few others felt the tactics he and his assistant employed were never going to get us the result we needed.

Against Carlisle we played it with passion, intelligence and for the most part on the deck.

Today's shambles was only a reflection of too many games this season. I just don't understand their tactic of always hoofing it forward. With 30 to go our master tactician came down from his perch in the Directors box and one of his first actions was to indicate to the players to play the ball long and over the top. This only played into the hands of their 6'+ central defender but was a ridiculous instruction when we only had Callum playing asa single striker...again.

So no apology from me and if it lands me in trouble with the club for expressing my views without resorting to swearing then so be it.

61 years of supporting my club and I'm ashamed of what we now serve up for a dwindling public. And yet the management team are under contract until 2020....unbelievable..

It's time for a change in approach and if that means that the current management team decide to go or are asked to, then so be it. We simply can't continue with such negativity and if we do escape relegation they still need either to change or go...and as someone who has respect for the legend that Jim is, i get no pleasure from saying or feeling my thoughts regarding him.

I thought we started both half's okish but the reverted to long ball because Barnet were putting us pressure and we're forcing us to as each half went on.

If CC is correct about what he saw and we were actually instructed to play this way then words fail.me.

q

I'm telling it as it was which was playing directly into the hands of the giant Barnet central defender.

And for what it's worth its an instruction that has been passed too many times this season which really annoys me when we all know that if we play it on the deck as v Carlisle we are as good as many in this league.

Architects of our own downfall thanks to our management team.
