The most important game of the season predictions.

Postby Sakhalin Shrimp » Wed May 02, 2018 9:42 pm

The prediction league can only be won either by paulshrimp or steve mfc.

I hope I'm wrong but think we'll blow it and lose 2-1. (Barnet will lose though so we'll be good)

Mrs Sak hopes for a 2-2, she's always been an optimist, she thought she'd change me

Unfortunately I can't be there on Saturday.

If we can start well with a positive attitude we are more than capable of getting something out of the game so 1-1 for me, which will be good enough for both teams.

We also have to concentrate on our own game as we have no control over what is happening at Barnet.

I've got egg on my face after last week's prediction and comment. So I'll just say 0-0 and no more.

Ha haha ha

I think our game is the most important,

a) win and the Barnet/Chesterfield result is of no importance
b) draw and Barnet have to win with a +8 goal difference
c) lose and Barnet still have to win.

It's in our hands, so to speak.

I sincerely hope that all the fans going to the game have a great time as it maybe the last game they will see Morecambe FC in it's present form  That being the case I have to forecast a win for us. 0-2.

At 28th in the prediction league, I'm safe from relegation, so nothing to lose from an all out attack. 3-1 Shrimps win, with Lincoln and Mansfield both losing to keep Coventry in the playoffs.

A friend of mine is a Mansfield fan, and is hoping for a scenario where Mansfield make the play offs.
To do that, the Stags have to beat Crawley and either Coventry or Lincoln to lose in their respective games against us and Yeovil.
A draw for us at Coventry, although good enough for us, is not enough for Mansfield.
So, as he said he hopes Morecambe stay up, then I will make my prediction, hoping that both Morecambe and Mansfield get the results they want.

Coventry 1 Shrimps 2
Coates Pearson Street Baldwin Bennett Sutton Done Roberts Kershaw Webber Richmond Galley - Shrimps '74 Legends

I'll go 2-2 in the spirit of '77 and all that.
Mrs O will decided when she wakes up.

All I hope is that the hangover I wake up with Sunday morning/Afternoon is for a good reason.

0-0 with neither team having a shot on target! Come on Coventry, follow our lead and just don’t shoot!
