Well I take it back but I was told by a usually reliable source that his family was based in the south....so sorry to post some incorrect info but it was based on what I was told.....

I seriously doubt it particularly in this case.

We have to pay their wages for May and June even though we have released them.

If they don't sign for another club before 1st August we have to pay them a salary for July as a sort of payment in lieu of notice.

I think Maher going is completely irrelevant to whether Baz stays or not to be honest.

I thought Maher looked a better prospect than Dan Nizic.

It could mean we are skint and going with one keeper or if the new guys have some money maybe a decent back-up to compete with Baz.

I think it merely means that Jim doesn't rate him. We will still have 2 goalkeepers as we do every season.
