Neither have personal wealth to run a club with losses like ours - one of the Companies Mayfair Fin Ltd avoided being struck off in January 2018 and none of the Companies he has Directorships have money.
Maybe some people know far more than they are telling us.....
Love right now to be proved very wrong for the sake of our club and us the fans!

And you weren't one of the 2 (Bare Grills and Morecambe Geek) , I am sure CC knows who you are
Whenever Morecambe Geek makes a post it is nothing to do with MFC but is aimed directly and in a nasty bullying way at CC.

The question is, will Morecambegeek do a CC and refuse to respond to comments?

fulwoodshrimp wrote:If neither of the two new owners have serious funds how are they going to finance the club over the next two years? As I said in an earlier post, something doesn't seem right about this whole saga. I wonder if there is some plan that will lead to chunks of the land surrounding the stadium being sold off and even the covenant on the ground being challenged to enable that to be sold? The two new owners seem to have the skills to attempt this- one is an expert on covenant advice and one in buying and selling real estate. If this worrying scenario is untrue then the board should explain how the club is going to be financed over the next two years including where the two new owners are going to get the funds from and explain how the club and its assets are to be maintained for Morecambe Football Club and are not to make money for any individuals. We need communication to reassure us that moving forward everything is being done for the benefit of our beloved club.

They can still be nasty though, real name or alias, from the relative comfort of their keyboard and touchscreen. I recently stopped using Facebook for the foreseeable future, partly because of this, and my relationship with Shrimpsvoices is also on a tightrope thanks to the attitude of some members, both directly and indirectly.

They have done more of the 'right things' so far than other recent 'owners' and been prepared to stand up and say they know little about running a football club but are prepared to put up the funds. Would the pitch be being worked on if they hadn't provided some finance? They have no obligation to say to all and sundry how they intend to finance the club.

I think PMG draws a parallel with Arsene Wenger, did an amazing job at first and then just stayed on a bit too long, started to make some bad calls and cocked things up a bit (a lot), tainting what should have been a fantastic legacy.
Little Shrimp wrote:Aside from it being generally quite unpleasant reading the personal attacks on here, it really is incredibly boring.
People come on here to read people's opinions on games/club matters etc, and just for general news a lot too as our club is so crap at keeping us informed; especially important for those that don't live nearby/can't make games. Instead, I just see ridiculous, petty, personal assaults (mainly on CC) and it's unpleasant, depressing and boring to read.
You're all grown adults, but it honestly feels like I'm looking on a forum full of primary school children sometimes.
