just read on Facebook that Don passed away on may 15th.
he was a great full back in his day, and manager from 1979 to 1981, a Morecambe legend.
thoughts for his family at this sad time.

Don and Derek Varcoe were legendary fullbacks. RIP

One of the 1960's team that were my boyhood heroes - along with Johny Martin that makes two of them recently. RIP
