Average Weekly Wage

Average Weekly Wage

Gives a fairish summary of budgets, but not sure if it accounts for the whole squad, i would say not?
Accy have worked wonders, but must have increased in the last year.

Blackburn and Wigan on a different planet

If I was a fan of FGR I wouldn't be too happy. One of the higher paid teams only just avoiding relegation.

Interesting that our average weekly wage for a player is higher than the promoted Stanley!

Might have been close at the beginning of the season, but Accy spent dome money in January etc, we did virtually nil... their chairman confirmed their extra spending in an interview

Wow Burton is higher than PNE

I would have liked to have seen the conference wages compared to league 2.

A lot more variation in the National League with part timers also involved. FGR had a budget of over £2M to get promoted and Lincoln werent far behind, top players will be on £1K + a week just like ours were under Sammy, while the lower end will be £150..

This is a good read from the Dover Chairman giving an explanation of costs from his point of view

I would think we had a good few players on over 1k a week for a few years in the conference.

Wonder how they get their info do they just look at each clubs wage bill? Which will include other staff
