2 defenders and a midfielder required as a minimum.
Not sure we need another 2 goalkeepers though! Personally I’d stick our best youth keeper on the bench and bring a loanee in, if Baz gets injured. I’m starting to feel a bit sorry for these young keepers who we sign every season and inevitably never get any proper game time.

99% sure its the one and only position you can have an emergency loan signing at any time of the season.
and also, id stick the best youth player on the bench, worse case scenario if things went Pete Tong you'd just be in deep shit for one game, then bring in a emergency loanee.

A plethora of signings...
By the first week in July...
A midfielder with plenty of League experience...
AND a proven goalscorer who bagged 29 last season...
Pretty much all positions covered...?
JIM OUT

Historically he has not really trusted the youth with only Doyle (and obviously McGowan) getting any real run. Personally I like the idea of having a younger player in Brownsword as 4th choice CB but then again given we occasionally play with a back 3 is that enough cover??

Sam Lavelle is only 21 and was given a great run this season, so Jim has started to break that mould.
My worry would be that if we wanted to play 3 at the back or if Old got injured, then we would have a relatively inexperienced heart of the defence in Lavelle and Kenyon. I'm not sure what Sinclair is like at CB but possibly that is the cover Jim has brought in if Old were to pick up a knock?
