O/T BT Broadband scam

Got a recorded message call this morning from 01251 7395649 suggesting that my BT Broadband connection was going to be stopped. I immediately contacted BT who as a result investigated the number and (as you guess) it is an apparent new scam which BT appeared unaware of. I'm posing this message just in case other SVers or their aged relatives get a similar call which may create concern. Keith is aware of this post and has no problem with me alerting all to this new scam. Sorry in advance to fellow SVers who find this post tiresome.

Did the caller have a scouse accent?

Had the same call a number of times , it's like a robotic type message ,but after putting the number into "who called me" on Google it warned of a scam ! . If in doubt use the site saves a lot of trouble then just block the number.
