Thommo still has plenty to offer and even when he's finished he'll have some part to play at the Club

This whole situation sums up (for me at least) what our family club is all about.

Agreed but it’s not like we’re doing him a favour. Portsmouth away, beating PNE, beating Wolves twice, 4-3 over Chesterfield etc. etc. None of that would have been possible without his Wembley goal and that pass for the winner. We definitely owe him one.

I think this sums our club up perfectly.

agree with all comments above however given Thommo injury they didn't have to offer him and pay him for the 6 months they have agreed.

I think this is a great gesture from the new owners to believe in the team and the likes of what Thommo has done for the club as this time last year this would never of happened.

fair play to the new owners.

I think he could have a role within our club for a while and bring the best out of the younger players in years to come.
