Roche
Mills Lavelle Old Cranston
Tutte/Fleming Jagne
Mendes-Gomes Wildig Mandeville
Oswell

Excellent selection. Possibly Tutte in place of Wildig.

Baffles me how a certain few on here try to shout down and censor people from having their own views. Agree or disagree, totally up to you but trying to turn this in to a us against them situation is crazy.

is it any wonder people have doubts for this season after the years of absolute garbage that we have had to put up with !

An increased playing budget
20k spent on the pitch
Younger, higher calibre players signed
Club secure for the next 2 years at least
Increase in season ticket sales
Fresh ideas from the owners
Plans in for cover behind the Omega
Talks to buy 3g and community block

All confirmed and spoken about by owners and management in recent weeks. This makes me happy.

Calm down snowflake. It's all you do, find ways to have a pop at the manager. I find it toxic. To not recognise the job he's done is fairly ill informed.
Fair enough, you want to see us get relegated having glorious 4-3 defeats every week. We get that. I'm sure if you squeal loud enough you'll get your way.

I don't see how having a different point of view is shouting anyone down. Give over with the victim mentality eh? I'm sure you're not the soft delicate little flower you're coming across as.

Would love that, was hoping for the same or similar against Fleetwood from the start, maybe aiming to surprise everyone at Crewe :)

Whatever team Jim picks it won't suit everyone

But let the guy do his job.. He's brought some decent players in let's see what they can do

We all know Ellison starts at Crewe

You call it having a pop, I call it having my say. I love how you just make things up for effect. Stop being such a fan boy and throwing yourself in front of Jim.

Everybody wants to see Jim do well, sorry if that upsets you but it is the truth.

A few seasons back, we played somewhere that had a superb pitch. We played great football and battered them. When asked why we don’t play like that every week, Jim replied along the lines of ’if we had a pitch like that, we’d play that way every week’.

I very much supported Jim last season (and before). The goal was to finish third from bottom, anything extra was a bonus. This season feels like it is more than simply survival. This season feels like we should be moving forwards. We’ve now got a great pitch (hope it lasts the season!) and we’ve got players to make the most of it.

This season, I want to see Jim going for it, played on the deck, in a ’we can beat anyone’ attitude. Let them worry about us, not the other way around.

I saw he got a mild pummeling for it, but I kind of agree with RR, this IS a big season for Jim. He needs to demonstrate that we’re capable of moving forwards after a few seasons of treading water. Sometimes treading water is a good thing, it is better than drowning. And we sure as hell have come close to drowning a few times! Now we’ve got some stability (hopefully!) let’s see if we can swim!

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

... and more recenty Wycombe away, pitch like a carpet and 3.0 up by half time while playing some magnificent stuff - battered them just before they got promoted.
