We've had 5 League games now without a goal, not sure that will change as we will no doubt be concentrating on not letting more goals in.

2.0 loss

i predict Jim will keep 4-2-3-1 meaning just 1 upfront and 2 defensive midfielders at home.

if Lavelle is back fit or we sign another defender might mean we only get beat by a goal or two and not six.

Morecambe 1- 3 Exeter

I'm dreading the prediction competition already

I couldn't believe it when I saw the team for last Saturday. Jim was absolutely distraught on Saturday, as were we all. He was certainly hurting. The question is, was he hurting enough to have a complete rethink and try something new, or does he believe that the system would work if he sticks with it? We know he's stubborn, but surely now is time for him to make the changes. Bring in the young lads and let's attack.

But I fear he'll protect the young lads and stick by the players from Saturday, giving them a chance to redeem themselves, in which case...

Oliver, up front, on his own... Morecambe 0
Exeter given freedom and no centre half brought in... Exeter 3

I might change this prediction at 2:59pm after seeing the line-up!

I would go with this line up but don't think Jimbo will

Roche

Mills New CB Old Cranston

Manderville Tutte Fleming

Wildig

Oswell Oates

4 3 1 2 and go at them

he was hurting last season after the Barnet match, did he change anything at Coventry? Nope! I don't think he can change his tactics as he doesn't know any other way. I think it's going to be another grim Iseason. Just hope pmg didn't come up with another surprise new contract!!

More concerned about what Exeter do because no doubt they will be a good league 2 side with good league 2 players and out to impress a new manager zzzzzzz.

Same old. Sussed out after 5 minutes, exposed down the flanks and sore heads for their defenders

Always love your optimism Sam, but it has taken us 7 League games to score a total of 3 goals, as much as I would like to see it I just can't see it happening all in one go on Saturday :(

0-0

Jim's too stubborn to change the team nor formation. Whenever there's a bad run, he always sends out virtually the same players in the same formation for their "response" which barely ever works. Jim will just tell them to be more defensive, so we're in for a boring 0-0 draw. He won't send them out to be attacking, so we won't score any goals - just same old token hoofball up to an isolated/disinterested Oliver.

No win in 11 games. Last win was on 17th March against Exeter.

I'll go for a scrappy 1-0 home win.
