TBH after watching the highlights of the game, they had 2 goals which came from outside the box and Kenyon went missing for 2 goals, looked slow at the back and that's what happens.

don't agree with the tactics Jim played, don't agree with playing Sunday league Oliver but agree the lads need to know they were crap, end of the day this is their paid profession so give it your all, today was a shambles but next weeks game requires a reaction otherwise the fans will be heard.

I think Jim is right to have a go at them after all he did apologise himself

It was a disgrace.

At least that puts to bed flogging Kenyon as a CB.

Good turnout from the supporters, deserved much more.

I totally agree that they should be told they were crap..

But..

Where does Jim put his hands up and say "I got it wrong today, i picked the wrong team or i didn't react quick enough"?

I used to get annoyed with Sammy MacIlroy when he put all the blame on the players and took no responsibility. Jim, I say to you what I used to say about him: 'You train the players, you motivate the players, you choose the tactics, and you pick the team. Take some responsibility as it ultimately falls on your shoulders, not theirs'.

Agreed , there's not many instances of players being sacked for poor results but plenty of managers are awarded the DCM (Don't come Monday !).

Maybe the players are struggling to carry out Jim's instructions , in which case it is up to him to devise a system that they can buy into and operate successfully.

I accept that I'm one of Jim's biggest critics only because of his tactics BUT all credit to him for facing the camera and accept that it was his responsibility for motivation and team selection. Quite a lot of managers after such a shambolic performance from the players would have refused to face the cameras. He was hurting but hopefully he will admit to himself that on too many occasions the tactics have been wrong and that a radical rethink of both himself and his Assistant is needed. I for one hope that they do change approach and let the opposition worry more about us than (it would appear) us worry about them.

Watched the highlights and listened to it live on radio. Are you suggesting that it wasn't that bad? As I said Jim to his credit said it was very poor.

Probably suggesting you go to an away game Neil before you constantly slay Jim and the team.

So are you suggesting that only those who go to away games can question Jim's tactics?
