A few changes, younger lads given a chance, PNE making changes too.

2-2 and in to extra time with a smile! :D

3 v 2 Preston a good Morecambe performance with lots of changes and playing more attacking but then Saturday when it's back to the league we will go all defensive again and with the same old line up.

I thought they had changed the rules to no extra time and penalties at 90 minutes like in the Checkatrade.

I presume I can just turn up at Deepdale and buy a ticket for the away end?
I cant get to the Morecambe ticket office to pick up a ticket, its too inconvenient.
I was going to buy one after yesterday's game but the ticket office was closed....

Probably will not happen but for me I'd be delighted if JB and co used this game to give Oswell in partnership with A Jay an opportunity up front in preference to Oliver and Kevin. Also would love to see both the youngsters given some extensive game time to see how they go on. For me this game is an ideal opportunity to try something different. You never know this could be the game that kick starts our season from probably one of the best squads that JB has put together of late and has defied all logic bearing in mind our on going budget constraints.

I hadn't seen that change! Thanks for pointing it out. Not sure if I think that is a good thing or not? Probably good, but extra time adds something to cup games.

I only saw it because I checked before posting the Preston prediction thread.

I didn't want to VOLUNTEER information and get criticised for not doing it properly
