Boo and poo! Sort of inevitable though?

yep, I was being a smart ass but I learned things too. Lots of smart asses here - some dumb and some .......................... erm less dumb

Note that I prefer the uncompounded (and far more English smart ass). I struggled not to say clever bottom.

To be fair Jims changed formation and it sounds with Quinny's Ball to Ball commentary like we've improved and been more attacking.

Another half of a game without a goal. If Oswell isn't ready then are Oliver etc? The manager's tactics are bewildering.

Jim doesn't care about cup matches. He's only interested in L2. He's said as much in interviews in the past
- not in so many words, but he's clearly said his emphasis is on L2. Shame really as the cup matches can bring in excitement and money - things that Morecambe is sadly lacking and which would help the club generally to stay in L2 - just look at the Wolves/Newcastle season where we had a full stadium, televised matches, and a couple of hundred k in the bank. Crazy thinking not to care about cup runs.

How long since a goal in the league now?
No amount of improved football will count if we cannot sort that out.
Feeling worried for the rest of the season.

It's 12 hours

Jim as said in the past that he tried to sign Oates a few times before
If that's the case why leave him on the bench

Typical, Quinney said we should have had a clear penalty and we should be showing the video to the referee after the game "because that was a penalty all day long". That's what happens when you are struggling.

Derek said that Oliver & Leitch-Smith looking promising and Oliver looking better with someone up with him.

Just need a goal or preferably, two.

Quinny said Oliver got a big hug from Jim as he came off and that he's played well today.

Gaps opening up at the back as we are pushing forwards. 12 minutes left plus time added. Stevenage have been wasting time since about the 50th minute. They are beginning to "take control again after Morecambe controlled a long period of the game".

So , 6-0 game 1 , 2-0 game 2 and 1-0 game 3 . No points , no goals scored but no doubt Jim will see this as a big improvement :(
