Manderville was a shadow of the player who had control of the game in the first 45 and was a lonesome figure stuck out on the wing. I've said it before, but we need a system that fits the players not the players in a system that they don't like or are incapable of understanding. Talk of sacking the management team and suggesting that they have 2 games left is easy but given the finances of the club it's not a decision to be taken lightly as any compensation due to the manager and his assistant would cripple us. It could also be said that relegation to the National League would also cripple us. I can't see Jim and Co calling it a day themselves so I suspect that the Board will continue to have faith in Jim and hope that our run of crap results will come to an end sooner or later. It's not as though we are playing badly but it's a result based business and unless players put it right on the field then our future in the EFL could be coming to an end. The cast may have changed but the Director still remains. For me both the cast and Director need to look at themselves and their ideas and ask serious questions about their abilities to get us out of yet another relegation battle.

What happened at half time? What ever happened must have been the Manager's doing as he in charge of the team talk? So he is to blame?
The players must do more so they are also to blame?

Completely agree, Jim has to take responsiblitiy for these results, because the players have tried their hardest in very limiting situations and tactics...
When a team starts getting bad results, it always ends up in the manager getting sacked, unlike here, where we have our perfect man for the job who will forever be ‘mr Morecambe fc’ and anyone who criticised him, is suddenly a traitor, and a non-supporter of the club.
Absolutely disgraceful from the management team, another poor Jim interview, surely he has FINALLY GOT TO GO to save our club! He is DRAGGING US DOWN!

If I could be arsed, I would put up his performance as manager since last Xmas and would like to see how that merits giving him to this Xmas. Like I say, I can't be arsed.
So by the time his contract expires (if he isn't given another one by pmg) we will be heading for conference north! Great idea of forward thinkingredrobo wrote:The management team have I believe circa 18 months left on their existing contracts. IF the Board sack them they will I assume be due some compensation. How will the club be able to afford that when we are struggling financially already? Some seem to know all that goes on within the Boardroom so maybe they and their moles could tell us how any settlement would be funded.
Duffman wrote:Perhaps giving the management a 2-year contract extension last season when on a run of 2 wins in 12 was a bad idea? The cost of sacking him now due to that mind-boggling extension would probably be over £120k.
I said after the Crewe game blind faith in Bentley would cost us, my opinion hasn't changed. If he wasn't a former captain he'd have gone long ago.

BerlinWaller wrote:Would the BoD not negotiate some sort of severance clause in to a Managers contract or do you think they have total faith in Jim/Ken and never contemplating sacking him? You would like to think they protected the club and did but on recent showings, you wouldn't be surprised if they have left themselves open for a large expense.
It is barmy that in a profession like Football, you get financially rewarded for being rubbish at your job.
