Whistle before their goal?

Whistle before their goal?

Quite a few in both Block C and C Premier heard a whistle just before they scored which appeared to stop our players from competing for the ball. Not sure if it was the ref but there certainly was a whistle and a few thought that it was the ref who blew and then allowed play to continue.

From our vantage point in Block D, directly in line, it was clearly offside. The linesman held his flag down so I guess the referee over- ruled himself. Typical luck when you are struggling.

Probably Phil Brown as he did it numerous other times during the game.

Sorry Jack, he was clearly onside , clever little run, and I think if you watch it on telly you'll agree.

No - disagree. The TV angle I saw was inconclusive as it was from behind play, so I stick with my opinion. Doesn't matter though, we lost, and that's what will go down in the records.
