I fully agree about the shooting.

Surprisingly, the official stats for today show Morecambe had 10 shots (3 on target), versus Crawley 11 shots (4 on target).

Yeah, but two of them, I could have saved while sat in my wheelchair! The other was a cracking save. So we'd still have lost 2-1

So how did that work out then?

Jim surely on borrowed time now. At least last season we were picking up a few draws. How are we not bottom of the league now? Need some new ideas and a fresh start.

2-0 down and who does Jim send on ? Super Vadaine Oliver , his 4 goals in 50 odd appearances looked certain to save us

The decision to send on Oliver was a desperate move from an increasingly desperate management.

Was Oswell unavailable or is Oliver above him in the pecking order?

I didn't hear Jim mention him in the clip about the injury situation. He did say that Andrew Tutte was only a couple of days away from being available again.

Just seen the ‘highlights’. Both goals awful ones to concede from our perspective.

The first one, their lad received it and ran all the way from the half way line before passing it into our goal. You couldn’t call it a wonderful solo goal because none of our players challenged him, so he didn’t have to beat any men.

The second one was just... crap. Cranston should have just hoofed it into touch. Right now, Jims challenge is simply to establish who our ‘least worst’ left back is and play him.

Or is it a case of the full backs not being told to mark up tightly. This lack of marking has been a problem for the past few seasons so it can't just be down to an individual but a more worrying problem of tactics.

The full backs defend the edge of the area, this a tactic. The name on the shirt changes but the tactic remains the same. They never ever close down the wingers.

We invite their wide men down the flanks, usually left back. They often overlap and have 2 unmarked after their Manager realises how much space there is, happened countless times yesterday something we never seem to do.
Running down the wing and crossing the ball, imagine that.
