Could you clarify the other Directors who you allege formed the Design team for the Globe Arena - I presume you are referring to Mark Dixon and the City Councils former Chief Building Control Officer, Brian Fagan who was one of the first Directors to jump ship. Who did they appoint as their consultants - Architect, Structural Engineer, M&E Service Engineers, Landscape Architect, Chartered Quantity Surveying practice and who was fulfilling the Project Manager role?

Well thats easy to answer. Just go onto the Globe Construction Website, these are who were appointed.

Architect - Croft Goode
Structural Engineer - TRP Consulting ltd
Project Manager's - M&E | Beech Jackson

Globe Arena Valued 7.3 Million - D&B

Thank you for your friendly informative response Andy D.

Please could you forward the website link were you obtained the information as I was informed that the contract for the build was between MFC Ltd and these guys -

https://www.placenorthwest.co.uk/news/globe-construction-folds/

Could you also clarify if redrobo is the former Secretary of the club and Lancaster City Council Officer Neil Marsdin who used to post prolifically on here as Christies Child and was also responsible for the club losing one of its legends, Physio Dave Edge RIP.

Redrobo is assumed to be the former Christie's Child, but is a different Neil entirely from Neil Marsdin. I'll not divulge his full name though, as that's up to him. As far as I know he's never had any direct involvement with the club. If Neil Marsdin posted as Christie's Child it's news to me, and I'm sure to the real Christie's Child, and he'll want to know how he got the password!

Knightrider, I'm flattered that you should think that I'm such an honourable and trustworthy gentleman as Mr Neil Marsden. Like Neil I would do nobody any harm and have always acted in the best interest of my fellow man caring for their welfare and providing shelter and assistance whenever called upon.

Unfortunately I'm non of the above; being a pain in the neck to many SVers as well as the clubs Management Team and at least one of the current Board of Directors. :o

However you are correct in referring to me as Neil but as for the rest of me...... :?: ;)

PS i had to downsize the jpg image to fit on here so quality as been degraded.

The reason it keeps coming up is that the same people are still running the club, despite new owners. The fact that such huge mistakes were made remains of great concern when the people making those decisions appear to be still in charge.

Absolutely spot on KenH.

Just to clarify the point is this. Anyone contemplating donating an annual sum of ten pounds to the Shrimps Supporters TRUST probably needs to know that those running the club are competent and will put the interests of the FOOTBALL team and the local COMMUNITY it serves first.

Morecambe has a population of over 44,000 so what percentage of its population have joined the Shrimps Trust?

Without a legit business plan in place, I'm out, so wont be investing in the Shrimps Trust.

Sadly for the club and its football club servants and legends like Dave Edge there is no evidence of the Shrimps Trust pressing the clubs management for publication of that business plan to its valued members. If I'm incorrect in that statement please post the evidence here for any potential investors to consider.

I trust that clarifies my position. :D

What a sad input which adds zero value to a very valid thread.

I suggest Neil, if you put the interests of the FOOTBALL club first, you read this and in particular KenH's statement about "alienation" because thats exactly what you and your alpha male bullying associates/forum admin are doing

http://giraffe.arvixe.com/~iomkeith/shrimpsvoices/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=23857&p=280695#p280695

Director Rod Taylor stated the operation of this forum as being a reason why the anticipated local support at the "Globe Arena" has never materialised. He may have a valid point.

Sadly for the FOOTBALL club it appears to be a case of carry on regardless.

I've spent the last 60 years+ supporting OUR football club much to the expense of my family life at times.
I've instigated numerous fund raising activities over the last few seasons in particular and going back to the days of Alan Spavin as manager produced a range of stationary and programme covers all at my own expense. But of course it's not about how one can help OUR club in times of need, it's more about being loyal and remaining so even when the going gets tough. So I'll take no lessons from you about putting the interests and welfare of OUR club first. It appears to me and possibly other SVers that you have a hidden agenda that seems intent on creating problems, why that is I'm at a loss to understand.

You have only had one post removed, where you tried to turn a thread where people were offering condolences following the untimely death of Dave Edge, in to a discussion about the move to a new ground. If you can’t see that it was the wrong place to make such a post, you need to give your head a shake. If you think tidying that inappropriate post (and the others who pointed out that you were inappropriate) up, constitutes “bullying” then you really are paranoid and deluded.

Your inappropriate post was also ‘reported’ to me by other readers of ShrimpsVoices (it isn’t all about you precious, there are other people on here too). If you want me to be an “alpha male bullying associate/forum admin” I will be happy to return the money you spent using this facility and help you find something else to do with your time. Now, play nicely and be civil, or leave.

What a clueless comment. The Club is not the Trust and the Trust is not the Club. The Trust make their own decisions, influenced by Trust members, how to spend the funds they raise. The state of the club is irrelevant. I have every faith in the TRUST and more than happy to hand over my money (when JG reminds me  )

Inappropriate disparaging and derogatory comments Site Admin Keith and a few others which clearly are in breach of the commendable terms of engagement here which you have to agree by registering which bring the club and this forum into disrepute. Do you intend to remove them Keith or do you apply the rules inconsistently like a biased referee?

Director Rod Taylor may have a valid point concerning the negative effect this forum has on the support from the town of Morecambe.

From someone that manipulated a condolences thread for their own warped purposes, that's hilarious.

Can you please direct us to where Rod's comments, that you heavily rely on, can be found?
