We have had five shots deflected straight to Macc players, they have one deflected twice and in!!
Another game we will look back and say we have missed the chances, their keeper has had a great match AGAIN!
Oh hang on, we are winning!! :D

I would have liked to have seen 2 center forwards, Smith looked to isolated against the bottom team, We made hard work of it.

But good to get 3 points, league table looks better.

9 corners suggests we need to look at our corner routines as we get sod all from them but mustnt be too critical as we won which is all that mattered in this game.

I was on about this, we need to get somebody who takes decent corners first.

I thought Flemings rum was perfectly timed and the goal onside. None of the Macc defenders appealed.

Yes , I was watching from level with the pen spot in the David Morris stand and he looked well offside from there but none of the Macc defenders came over to argue with the linesman.

One of their centre-halves glared at the linesman and held his arms out asking for offside! We on the Berlin wall just told him to get on with it politely of course! ;) Also congratulated the liner on a good decision.

I'm a bit confused about what I think!

I was frustrated that when Kenyon had to come off following Rose's dreadful challenge (he'd lost his head earlier in the game, then when coming off started arguing either with out bench or our fans, couldn't see which?) I wanted to see a more attacking substitution, with another attacker coming on, to stretch the ten men, but Tutt was a like for like. But, I thought Tutt played really well, and got some game time/match fitness, so I suppose that's why I'm not a football manager! But it still felt like at a time when we really should have gone for it, we were still too safe.

Fleming was my MotM even before he scored. He had a really good game and took his goal really well. He spoke about confidence and carrying it in to the Grimsby match after the game, so lets hope we do. Another six pointer coming up. Win it, and we can begin to feel as if we've turned a corner. Lose and we're back to doom & despondency!

What a deflection for their goal! When will we get one like that?

FFS, I find myself agreeing with Keith again! If Jim replaced Kenyon with an attacker or Oliver it would have put Macc straight on to the back foot and they would have had to have changed their system. By bringing Tutte on, Jim let them off the hook and they still got at us. Looking at the state of Tutte, I don't think he had 60mins in him but he was very impressive.

Totally agree but Jim was more worried about losing than winning yesterday. The initial line up, Tutte for Kenyon and then Oliver to defend against probably the biggest front two I have seen confirms this. I doubt we will see two up top again under Jim. I keep banging on about it but Mandy up front with AJ would be great to see.

Just seen the extended highlights, I'm quite impressed! Some of the interplay between Oates, Mandeville and Wildig is lovely, and it was great to see Fleming making some good runs into forward positions all game, which obviously led to his goal.

Glimpses of Tutte look very encouraging. He seems to have a real good knack of picking out players between the lines which is something we've been desperately lacking. I'm confident in all our forward player's, especially Mandeville, abilities to find little pockets of space and Tutte looks like a player who can pick them out. Hopefully he can get back to full fitness ASAP.

I think the highlights confirm that Rose got what he deserved and the challenge was awful on Kenyon who Jim claims is his good friend! I think I might have got the Flemmo offside wrong after watching it again. I thought he was 2 yards off yesterday but after seeing it again, he was 10 yards off! Cracking finishes for both goals though and a nasty deflection for theirs.
