Oliver starting again! Why? Surely Oswell or Piggott better options!

Bollocks!

Fantastic chance for AJ 1:1 but he almost had too much time. Great save to be fair.

Good bit of play from their winger, passes to their player almost in the centre circle. He runs forward, no one closes him down, back off, back off, back off. He then curls it in from just inside the area.

One clear chance for us, saved.
One clear chance from them, bottom corner.

They are on top now that we've given them confidence.

Was cooking, didn't see the goal. But sounds like it was fair. Too bad. Lots of time left, tho.

Arghh another goal conceded from outside the box. Do we not work in Training on closing players down outside the box?

And that's nothing to do with the budget, it's football basics, school boy errors.

We're looking back on top again. Another good save from their keeper.

They don't look good despite being in front.

Some nice patient play leading to Tutte shooting well from distance. Good shot.

Grimsby wasting time already!

If they can hold it together and get an early goal second half they'll beat Grimsby as they usually fall to pieces in the latter stages.

Not making it any better or detracting from your point, but he was inside the area when he shot. Of more concern is that he ran from level with the centre circle, into the area, then shot, without having a challenge.

You can tell from Alex Kenyon's comments, that Jim hasn't lost the dressing room and he also thinks that the way we're playing, we should have more points than we have. And yes, we've seen a few keepers having MotM performances when they play us. But, he also said, "we're not in the bottom two so we don't need to worry about that". We clearly DO need to worry about the bottom two. We struggled to beat ten man Macclesfield and currently, Grimsby have leapfrogged us. The next 45 minutes are MASSIVE for us. If we can get an early goal, you can see Grimsby collapsing. But if we don't score early, I can see us becoming more & more nervous. We can play all the nice build up football that we want, but if we don't create and take chances, then we'll still end up 'nil'.

Take the chances surely, we created at least 4 decent ones in the first half.

Four decent ones?

AJ's that was well saved.

Tutte's long shot was a half chance.
Wildig's shot was a half chance, certainly not a clear chance.

Can't think what the other one was?

I'd say we had one really good chance that I expected us to score.

First 12 minutes of the second half, Grimsby hit the crossbar and missed a pretty decent chance and we've err... nothing.

GREAT GOAL!

Oats picked the ball up near the halfway line. He took the ball forwards, and rode a couple of chances. In to the area, then slotted home nicely! COME ON!

GET IN!!! 1-2

Mandeville with a cross. I initially thought it was Oliver's touch, but re-watched it and Oliver didn't reach it, but that perhaps mis-footed the keeper and the ball rolled nicely in!

Now come on! We've been saying we deserved a little good luck, that was it.
