We're gonna piss this tin pot league! But seriously another top result in yet another early season 'six pointer'. Tutte back in the fold and a real confidence booster!

I must of missed Blackpool Shrimps text message to Radio Lancashire tonight!

Quiet in here when we win and disappoint so many people?

I'll Gladly answer this :D

If this game had of been played at home where most Morecambe FC fans watch Morecambe FC this game on all forms of social media would of been talked about, like who were the stand out players and certain moments in the game.

But it was played away from home infront of a small following.

another 3 points - excellent. Oates goal was well taken, not sure what happened with the other but Manders was clearly delighted.

So, last season we had most draws in the league - was it 19 from 46? This season only team not to have drawn a match so far.

Also, our 3 wins have been against teams currently occupying bottom 4. Recent seasons we have really struggled against teams at the bottom.

Not sure if it means anything, though :|

If the aim is to avoid relegation then wins against the teams at the bottom do us more good than beating the top teams in that they are "6 pointers".

Incidentally, really enjoyed the commentary today, with Alex Kenyon giving a lot of insights to the club & squad. Also some of the things that go on, on the pitch. I enjoy Radio Bias commentary too (get well soon Freez) but it is also good to hear Quinny doing proper commentary too.

Get in! Great stuff, please Jim let the team ride this confidenice. The pre-planned dance celebrations show some good comradery within the squad, let’s take that with the winning feeling and roll with it!

Another massive, and deserved 3 points for the Shrimps. At the end of the game, it was a pleasure to see just how much it meant to them....and the fans of course.COYS

Just a quick question, could you hear our fans today? We never heard a peep from Grimsby apart from the goal cheer and booing at the end.

Certainly a day of ups and downs, apart from the backing off and the lack of a tackle for their goal we were the better team. Great that our fans kept on supporting and singing and we got our reward. Oates goal a brilliant effort and Mandey celebrated like he had wasps in his shorts - hilarious , great to see everyone happy

How did oliver do worthy of his starting place?

Did AJ and Oliver play as a front two and is that what made us better?

I thought Oliver played well and was a pain in the arse around their defence but was getting back to defend too. As I said earlier, I also think it was him going for the cross from Mandeville that confused their keeper, allowing the ball to sneak in. I'd say AJ was generally behind Oliver but there was quite a bit of movement. I don't recall Oliver having a shot on goal, so if all he's being judged upon is that, it wasn't a good day, but if you are looking at the headers won & space for others, then yes, he put in a shift and did alright.

Yes it was Oliver at the post, we thought he might have got a bootlace on it but he didn't, just glad it didn't go wide!

Didn't see the game yesterday.

But can't help feel the return of Levalle as helped settle the team.

The CB partnership of Lavelle & Old I thought last season they worked well together.

Plus with Conlon starting to get back to form, and Mills who you could say is a like for like replacement for McGowan, gives us back that settled back 4 we'd last season.

Just wondering if the Owners were there yesterday? They may have Heard what a lot of fans thought of the PI, JB debate.

Nah, they don't need to.

They'll probably just go on that fans page on Facebook, and look at repetitive posts or one in particularly a survey started by one of the Admins asking that question of what fans think.

Funny how a few very vocal "fans" vanish after a win.
