This is terrible news ....if one of them left you could accept "personal reasons" ...but two very loyal fans of the club resigning.....it stinks.

Of course as per previous resignations of local directors under PMG - Graham Hodgson, Stuart Forrest, Mark Hallam, Stephen Wright, Nigel Adams, and now Mike Hinchcliffe and David Brockbank - no one will explain why.

We were worse off for all of them leaving and I know that they loved the club, so why?

Don't forget the Althams, they lasted a matter of hours. Peter Cross as well, I always wonder what language Ken Parker would have been using these past few years.

Rod will have to build a moat

Just got back from holidays in Florence to read this worrying news. David is a close friend who was a groomsman at my wedding and know how proud he was to have been invited onto the Board. As for Mike, wasn't he the Director responsible for the Youth Development and Academy side of things at the club? Once again worrying news but hope that the club will provide some further reasoning behind their departures.

Just wonder if this has anything to do with the Paul Ince issue or am I reading too much into these resignations ?

Likely it's a result of the board meeting last week that caused 'people' to cancel or cut short their plans

I remembered about the Althams after posting so that’s 10 local directors he’s gone through.

I’m amazed Rod stays as I don’t understand what he and Graham Howse get out of it now. It’s like the Liberal Democrats going into coalition with the Tories. It seemed like a good idea at the time for the good of the country and you arguably stopped the worst but the LibDems are tarnished for life.

Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at that board meeting.

P.S. Shrimps Trust need to start asking some serious questions and demanding some answers. I know we’ve been told that we’re not able to know this stuff but...

Very sad/worrying news. We need more true fans on the board, not less.

Do you not think Rod and Graeme are just hanging in there for the sake of things to stop Mfc as we know it , falling completely into the wrong hands .

What, like Diego Lemos?

Also what powers do they have? They don’t have controlling shares, so can’t block ownership.

I really think we need some type of demonstration/protest against the running of our club.

Time and time again we are treat like mushrooms tapped on the head told it's nothing to do with us and just remb how lucky you are to have a league club so don't question anything and everyone goes a long with it.

Sorry but any other club in this country league or non league would be demanding answers and getting on the backs of the people and they would have been doing it years ago.

Could you imagine the fans of places like Carlisle, PNE, Bradford just rolling over and accepting whatever they are told or in our case not told.

I have always said we are to nice we aren't allowed to criticise the team, manager, board etc but we are so tame compared to other clubs.

If directors resign from the board are they then not at liberty to voice any concerns that they may have ?

Awful news, not a good sign at all. Or maybe they've made the best move possible for them as this farce draws to a conclusion.

I don't, I am sure both directors thought long and hard about it though, being such ardent fans as well as board members.

Colin has replied to a fan on Facebook, after he was asked about why the Directors had resigned. He had called the owners Rodney and Delboy, so got a response, no real answers though, but at least it was a nibble.

Possibly the most communication on media ever from owners

Just Rod and Graham there now, I cant think how they must be feeling right now

Another local name, David Derham ? Did he serve under PMG too ?

Can't remember for sure.
