Great win.The last time we had an injury list this long I seem to remember us doing just the same. What is it about an injury crisis that seems to bring out the best in us, backs to the wall, siege mentality? Suppose it shows the character of the squad/management.

Great 3 points. Well done the depleted squad and the management. Hope the Tutte injury is not too bad?

Listened to game on Radio Cumbria whilst at a watercolour painting workshop at Coniston. Cumbria far from complimentary about us but did feel that we made all the correct decisions on the day. Also remarked about the way our manager reacted with his players towards our fans at the end of the game. Wished their manager would show such emotion.

Well done to everybody just hope those who went by train get home in good time on the relief busses provided.

They were able to catch the first train south after the line was reopened and are en route as we squeak!

Just got back. Great result - well done lads. We played some neat football at times and, importantly, defended very well. Though it has to be said, Carlisle had an off-day and were poor - a lot of their fans booed them off!

Well done to Verdaine Oliver - great header for his goal and worked hard up front. Much better when he is alongside AJ Leitch-Smith. Hope Verdaine is feeling more confident now.

Up to 17th place now and feeling much more positive about the team and the season.

Well done Jim!

That was the complete away performance. Two well taken goals, a clean sheet, fantastic support and Carlisle fans booing their team. Well done everybody.

I watched the first half. There was a period when we were under the cosh and they hit woodwork, but we played some good stuff too. Both well taken goals. Little fortunate that the rebound fell nicely for AJ, but he’d done so much to get in position for the first shot, he deserved some luck! Great three points.

What happened to Tutte?

Just read the Carlisle match report... was it an own goal, having rebound off their defender?

I thought their keeper saved his initial shot and then AJ poked the rebound goalwards, if it hit a defender on the way in it is still his goal imo :) Nice that their match reporter thinks we are overachieving again! Where have 4- 5,000 of their fans gone??
Don't worry be happy!

Having just watched the highlights, I think that our defence deserves huge praise. They put their bodies on the line and were blocking shots etc. Great stuff. And when you look at the average age of our defence (forgetting the old Irish geezer in green :D :D ), what a potential unit we have if JB can hang onto them and continue to develop them.

And as for Vadaine Oliver - I thought that he gave 100% throughout, and caused all sorts of problems for their defence. A thoroughly deserved goal to cap it all too.
