I got a phone call from one Jim Taylor at Radio Five Live this morning about the Carlisle article I wrote for D3D4 football this week. He wanted to speak to Sam - the carer of Jordan (of whom I have included a picture in the article of them watching the game from United's disgraceful so-called `disabled' facilities in the pouring rain) personally about their experience at Brunton Park last Saturday. It's bizarre how Carlisle haven't acted on this already. At the game on Saturday I was impressed that they provided free sanitary products in the women's loos, so they aren't entirely oblivious to the needs of their visiting supporters. I guess they just need things pointing out to them?
Of course a covered viewing area does cost a bit more than a few packets of tampax, but still..

... and having now read the other thread on this topic, I suspect it was probably Carlisle fans and matchday staff that initiated the women's products, rather than it being a club policy.
