Must confess that I have never heard of Codjovi (no disrespect intended). Anyway I have just checked the MFC website and I see that he is NOT one of our youngsters. His date of birth apparently was 01/01/1901.

Absolutely no disrespect intended, but Codjovi just makes me think of a poor Bon Jovi tribute band.

Looking at the stats on the BBC, it appears that we are barely in the game yet?

Is that the case?

Sat in a bar in Crete. Took until ten past to get on-line. Had to get the bar owners to switch off the VPN & reset the router!

Looking good so far.

I’m in Kato Gouves, about ten miles from Heraklion.
Elaine is watching the Man City v Burnley (1-0) and the West Ham v Spurs is on behind us (0-0) Equal number of Spurs & Hammers fans, one Burnley & one Morecambe. Not a City fan in sight! :D

I missed the first ten minutes when we were struggling, when they were on top, but then we were on top for a while. Unfortunately, they’ve now scored a great goal. Not too much in it considering.

Sat in the Central Bar. For Freez (who mentioned in the commentary that he's been here) we're staying at The Blue Aegean Hotel. Ten nights, All Inclusive £540 each. About 30 degrees today!

That's a great price*2 for 10 nights , flights and all meals.
You could donate that bar a Morecambe scarf to add to their collection

How was that not a hand ball. Just re watched it on slow and it is a clear hand ball. The ball slightly changes trajectory. Terrible decision.

We had a bench. Why wasn't it used ?

BBC stats also show no shots on target, so it's good to hear we played well, but why no subs??? :|

Was thinking the same. We could have sent 3 lots of fresh legs in to the game but Jim chose against it. Crazy.

Yeah strange decision surely Kev should have been replaced.Yet another game that we should have got something from but for all the pressure did the keeper make a save.

Can't remember a time we didn't make any subs. Kev and Cranston no good again.

How do we know how well 29 goal a season Oswell and Piggott will do if we don't play them. Ludicrous.

Being encouraged to celebrate the 5th home defeat of the season by the match day announcer was equally as strange.

Obviously that was our best 11 available so why change anything? I mean we were only losing 0-1 at home! After a dire, drab (both sides) first half in which we contrived to concede a good goal by our opponents after we generously gave them the ball, the second half improved with a lot of huffing and puffing which, alas came to no actual shots on target. Never mind lads you put in a good performance so lets celebrate a hard fought (5th) home defeat. Look at what you could've won. Smashin, Great, Super :o

Do you honestly believe we didn't deserve something?
Nobody is happy we lost, yes the goal was preventable, we had three shots on target, all blocked, two by hands, but there you go!!
Stats are great, but dont give the full picture, those 1800 present saw the shots on target blocked but apparently they don't count.
Frustrating day again!
