Good 3 points BUT a very lucky 3 points in the end. When Manders and Oatsie were taken off we were left without an out option. This encouraged Yeovil and we could easily have lost the match. Some good performances during the middle portion of the game and we could have gone 3 up but once they scored we showed nothing. Let's hope for a more morale boosting performance next Saturday

Can a player be sent off after the final whistle. Standing in block D after the whistle I noticed one of their players, ( unfortunately didn't notice name or number ) was doing his best to argue with Alex K in front of the ref who ordered him to the tunnel, their guy just turned and mouthed w##k## to his face.

No wonder they must get it off their Manager, he's a right little shit! I was sat behind the Away dugout, he had a final warning off the 4th official, only for his assistant to carry on gobbing off at the 4th official.

Yes. Happens quite frequently. I think it can only be a straight red card though, so usually fighting or foul & abusive language.

After going 2 nil up we managed to hold on to an important win. They battered us throughout most of the second half but we got away with only conceding one goal! Slowing the game down and trying to shore it up never works for us! A much needed 3 points but why didn't we keep up the pressure on them and rely on outstanding saves from our keeper? I hope there were plenty of the white seats brigade upstairs as again the downstairs bar was virtually empty half an hour after the game!!
Don't worry be happy!

An incredibly welcome win today. As usual, we made it difficult but 3 points on the board is all that matters.

Lovely goal by AJ. We had a good slice of luck with the goal by Oates, the penalty (even though we missed it) and with Yeovil’s inability to put the ball in our net... but we’ve had so much misfortune this season that we could have another few penalties and still be owed some luck.

Well done Jim and the boys.

They looked a different side when Alex Pattison came on for them on loan from Middleborough, one of the best midfielders ive seen in L2.

How he run with the ball at pace our Lads couldn't match him.

Agree with most of the post, but not that bit. I think it was a foul, it's just they are often not given. Good decision I think.

Technically the right decision, yes, but very soft and we were lucky to actually be given a decision like that (for a change).

Excellent win but why do we make it so difficult for ourselves by trying to protect a 2 goal advantage rather than go for a third. Jim in his post match interview said that a 2 goal lead is a horrible thing to try and keep as it means the opposition might just as well throw caution to the wind and go for it which to Yeovil's credit they did in the final 40 following our second.

For me the win was down in the end to the rightful MoM in goalkeeper Halstead who on the day proved a more than able deputy for Baz. His distribution especially using his back line to set up going forward was a vast improvement on Baz of late who seems to prefer a long punt up field rather than a more constructive throw out to a defender.

Not sure what was said but Oliver looked far from happy with Jim as he came off the pitch and didn't stay around to take the applause of the fans as soon as the final whistle went.

This win sets us nicely for next week which will be a battle royal with no prisoners and we have to be in the right frame of mind to get a result as they will fight for every loose ball and no doubt try to nullify Mandy and others. Wouldn't be surprised if the vastly underrated Cranston has a stormer as for me it's his type of game where he can get stuck into his midfield role that he seems to thrived on of late.

Excellent win yesterday. I’m glad old is back as yarney looks a bit vunerable and when he leaves old and Sam can get there defensive partnership back. Yeovil obviously did there homework and knew we are venerable on our left side....

Yarney should have stopped their goal yesterday. I think Old and Lavelle would be a more solid centre back pairing.

Great win in the end, superb 1st hour or so, "AJ's on fire" , then we went to poo when Oates was subbed, giving them a new lease of life, we certainly defend better going forward rather than 10 men behind the ball, Halstead was awesome in goal.
Quote of the day for me was when the stretcher came out with extra medical staff, then they came back with an empty stretcher and Jim said to the 4th, "where is he"? lol
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Gutted to miss the game on Saturday but sounds like a decent first half performance and the rub of the green in the second (how nice it is to say that for a change!)

AJ and Rhys seem to be really growing into their attacking roles here. 5 goals a piece now in the league.

I believe the referee can't take any action once HE has left the field of play. So, if he's walking off and sees/hears something then he can show them a red card, but as soon as he steps across the whitewash and back down the tunnel he can only report it to the FA. I'm not 100% but pretty sure that's how it works.
