THERE'S ONLY ONE CHOICE

When i leave the Local Choice suite after home matches there is usually a lot of people coming through the main entrance and up the stairs without any problems.
We usually meet up with friends in the local Choice from the Ace scaffold stand and they have never had a problem .

Easy solution would be to close the downstairs bar and encourage fans to use the one upstairs or is it a case of 'matter of principle' with some who refuse to use the Local Choice suite....

Who stopped you Tom and what was said? My understanding is that all were welcome after every match?

God knows Keith. My memory isn’t what it was in my old age. I seem to remember someone in a suit near the stairs and was adamant that was the rules. I explained I’m an exile and don’t get to see a few familiar faces very often, but to no avail.

Going back to the original choice Rod is the natural choice. I would love to see some of the old directors back involved with the club.

We can’t compete the other bigger local club a for football or facilities, however we previously had been the local friendly humble club for people to enjoy their day. I feel that has been lost along the way. Hopefully some of this can be reinvigorated into the club with the right people on the board.

You have to go out the home end then back in again. You can't just go in via the pitch side balcony.

If that is in response to my comments, Outsider, I did.

I saw that after I posted. In that case they were wrong in stopping you. It does at time's feel as though we are intruding on the inner sanctum, but I just thought it was me. ;)

How silly of me to even think that your personal vendetta would have moved on now that your insistence of a change has come to fruition...

With Christmas just around the corner maybe someone will buy you a new bone....

Not a 'personal vendetta' at all. Its you Sir that can't seem to get a grip of the various decisions that have been made that leave a few questions unanswered. (don't think I've put myself in any legal shit with that statement?). (but feel free to save my arse)... - The football pitches behind for example? I used to play on there thinking we were helping, contributing and giving money for the Club.... but wait... keeping it simple, why are they still shut? I await a decent answer that doesn't put 'himself' in a bad light.

Just to reply on the collecting rubbish issue. I am pleased to say this has now been sorted.

For two games in a row I, and many others, failed to make a food or drink purchase because of the queues. Today I managed to get to the front of the queue as the game was kicking off to find there were no pies or hot dogs.

No rubbish three weeks in a row. Well done all!

Two minutes to kick off. I stuck it out. Sorry it’s a bit big.

Excellent news and even more so being as it is a dual role where each can provide their individual skills to specific roles within the organisation. Rod I see as being the spokesperson and face of our club whilst Graham being the financial wizard.

Just hope that we can finally put the PMG situation and the personal feelings towards his stewardship to an end and concentrate on the future. As Rod said yesterday, let's work together to make our club something to be proud worthy of our continued support.

Sorry for the delay in this response, but I have been away. But holy shit. He can do no wrong in your eyes can he. Out of interest, you don't have to answer this, but have you any criticism at all for the person who has put us in this position? Beggars belief that you want him to just be able to walk away without any questions asked. Why do you personally 'just hope that'?
I have a very different opinion as do many, many others.

We can't be like that with the little following we have, surely? Stop charging extra for the red seat privileges! Let anyone in who wants to go in! Why turn money away? I'm not having a go as I now understand people have paid more for the privilege, but please! You shouldn't have to pay more for access... It's now empty as it is! The Club needs a a total rethink.

I would have done the down stairs bar as an Away Bar, and posh upstairs one for Home supporters.

Why can't this happen? Instead... Hurley Flyer! Please, someone who has a say in the Club, explain!!!? Away fans buying pints in a Morecambe Bar? Who's ever thought of such a thing!???!

Yes,this time I am having a go! Away supporters drink in the Hurley Flyer. Why can't we make our downstairs bar an away bar and our upstairs exclusive bar... a bar for Morecambe? Why can't we get an in house burger van, (yes, shit I know, but it's the little things that are missing!) - why can't we get what everyone wants! (The things we used to have!).... knock that fecking wall down! Make it flat, bit like the Carwash, instead of cramped in tiny stepped cattle sheds with no movement. I would return if I had somewhere to actually stand!!!! Bloody awful what we were served up.
I hate to be always grumbling on here, but nobody ever listens as to why we have all stopped coming! (Or they do and just don't give a shit...)..
Great result today btw! Onwards and upwards!!
Please listen to us that haven't paid and can't quite afford the delights of the Family Club.
Quit the division between those who have and haven't and you will see at least a couple more pints bought....
