Second time this season that a defender has his arm above his head, plays the ball with it, and we get a corner!

Man I'm pretty blind and miss a lot of stuff that others see, but even I managed to catch that first handball in the box, can't believe it wasn't given.

Still, good to get the point at least.

Very poor Morecambe v very poor Notts County = very poor game.

We could have had something if the ref had given us a nailed on penalty but blaming the ref because we can't shoot on target is a weak excuse.

Awful game to watch but it was a 6 pointer we didn't loose and a draw does keep our distance with the bottom 2.

Just heard JB on radio lancs, never heard so much rubbish, awful performance today again, yet he thinks we are on form.He needs to go now as he has been slowly killing the club for the last 3 seasons.Need a fresh approach, just saying

We got out of jail with the late goal but it cant disguise another poor performance particularly in the first half again. Yes it should have been a penalty but we just don't work the opposition keeper enough.
Halifax beaten 4-0 today sums it up.

Shocking performance for most of the game - two really poor sides that looked worthy of going down. No evidence of any real tactics to win the game.

Definitely got out of jail with the goal - and admittedly, should have had a stone wall penalty which could have seen us steal a win.

I like Cranston but not at R/B, he's wasted there, i prefer him in center midfield.

is Spencer not good enough to play R/B?

Almost lost the will to live watching that first half  Awful. Very questionable team selection and lack of any meaningful game plan.
Second half started better with Mandy making a couple of good chances, and what happens? He gets taken off  Oliver totally ineffective - I've seen enough. 2 points lost today against a VERY POOR Notts County side. Sadly we didn't look any better. Time for Jim to go.

Congrats to Thommo on his 750th appearance. He looked good today, certainly didn't play like someone who's had several months off. I presume Jim will ease him in gradually, but it looks like that's one injury worry out of the way.

The manager's team selection makes little sense and poor Oswell and Pigott largely ignored even when we are failing to score. Thommo looked lively when he came on and I thought Oswell improved things during his few minutes cameo. I see Halifax were well beaten showing how poor we are. We don't seem to have any tactical know how and game plan. If we do it is clearly not being carried out!

Oswell did more in 10 mins than Oliver has in 18 months.

On a brighter note, the girls footy was great. What a master stroke by the club. Play utter shite footy either side of a cracking game. Well done girls.

It does rather make you wonder when Jim will decide to give Oswell a full game. If he hasn't done so after the Halifax fiasco when Jim was nearly in tears about our lack of scoring it's doubtful if he ever will.

Same old sh#te different opposition! We should've had a penalty but i thought they should have got one for a poor tackle by Conlon just before the break. Oliver failed yet again to do anything, Mande starts to pull strings and gets hooked! It's as if trying to score is against the rules! I suppose we should be grateful we got a point against another side struggling. Dread to think what MK Dons will do to us next. :(

These days I’m glad just to see us not lose at home.

It looks like we were denied a stonewall penalty but the performance didn’t deserve 3 points so a fair result really.

There was no penetration and no idea in the final third, again. Lots of passing between the defenders then an eventual hoof towards our strikers - it was a regression to last season after we’ve at least managed some decent passing football for the most part this season.

Thank god for Kev, and Thommo looked lovely when he came on. I’ll take a point but I worry about playing away at MK Dons on today’s showing, as we could get thrashed.

Just watched spurs/chelsea and realised footballs not dead.MFC were dreadful again. Who is training the the players to attack, because they are failing.Watching Pruton (ex Southhampton)who was speaking to Jim White on SKY, saying the main striker who works their socks off,but hardly ever score, mean their team are going nowhere.Players who have the chance to get the ball in the box, need to learn how to cross without having to take two or three times to set the ball and not hit the oppositions player.Well done Thommo for injecting some pace into the game and to all Kevs doubters, he's still got it ;) .

Up till our goal that was a terrible game, the two best players were the oldest players on the pitch. We missed wildig(I presume injured again). As said above Oliver was poor, he has no idea who is around him or where to head the ball.

For the most part another bloody awful game to watch again at The Globe, as I have said previously the simple reason why attendances are so low is because of the dreadful of football on offer, for £17 you can't blame supporters for not turning up to watch that. I can't attend every game but I am not sure I would want to be parting with that sort of money too often, I was expecting a more attacking direct style of football against a side in poor form in an important winnable game. Interestingly, it was only as soon as they scored and the two and Ellison and Thompson came on that the game came to life which shows the players are capable of playing a more attacking direct style of football. It seems to me that every time I see MFC at home it seems like they are playing for a draw and I have only ever seen them win one game in eight in the last two years. In terms of the game a point was fair, if anything we should/could have nicked it.

Nevertheless am planning to watch the Port Vale game at home as I have a rare weekend off again.

Agree with all, very uninspired, and almost difficult to watch game, particularly the first half.
Mills, Wildig and Oates, we missed them all in my, and probably 95% of all other Shrimps fans opinion. A point rescued, by our Super Sub Kev, might not look quite so bad as the season progresses????
There must come a stage surely, where Jim will be able to start his absolute first choice team. Full strength, confidence and confident play from the first whistle, which lifts the whole team, including Oliver, all through the game. Success breeding success within the game, resulting in the outcome we all want at the end.
I wait to be shot down, and will be,........”wake up,” “dreamland,” etc blah, blah, but that is how I see it.

The thing is we are not going to set up to attack and try to win a game against a side in poor form, in the bottom two then we never will - its going to be like that all season, its just bloody awful to watch.

I will attend the Port Vale game expecting the exact same and will be attending purely as a supporter - not because I 'enjoy' it.

On a side note, the hotdogs introduced this season are outstanding.
