Hard and fast or discretion

Hard and fast or discretion

How are the rules of the game judged by officials in the present game. I can't understand how todays ref got his licence with some of his decisions.

Funnily enough, I thought they had a good game and got the majority of decisions correct. We see games differently, which is what the game so interesting!

Keith, any person that doesn't think that their man should not have received some colour card for the foul on Kev with that chance to score ? ? ? ? . If Jim doesn't make some kind of comment on that in his match report, I'll be amazed.

It definitely wasn't a red card, so you are arguing that he had a bad game for not showing a yellow?

Borderline yellow, but he offered us a lot of play to see if we gained advantage then pulled it back, so from a neutral perspective, if there was any problem with that decision, it is Crewe who should be annoyed! Personally, I thought he got it right, we never really got control of the ball after the foul, so pulled back. Yellow card? Probably, but still doesn't make for a bad game. The penalty was possibly soft but correct.
