Whole team had NO shots on target in 90 minutes.
Wrexham fans fuming.
Oswell played up front with another ex Shrimp, Chris Holroyd.

With Thommo being let go, there's no one to give Oswell the crosses. So if that's the thinking, then it makes sense to let Oswell go too. Mandy and Oates aren't really wingers who provide good crosses to the goal area. And our corners and free kicks are notoriously awful in terms of accuracy, so again, don't feed into a header like Oswell.

I've not been able to watch the interview yet, what was said with regard that aspect?

Makes sense Keith.

Stockport who ply their trade in Conference North average 2,500 home fans. Even at that level....

Our gates are looking much better this season.
I make the average league gate over 1,900 this season which is up about 400 on last season.
We have Bury and Lincoln coming soon which will put our average up.
There have been quite a few increases in like for like games , Carlisle last year was 3,200 and was 3,750 this year and Crewe last season which admittedly was on a Tuesday was just over 900 and this season it was over 1,660.
The football has been better even though results haven't and maybe the Commercial dept. deserve a pat on the back.

I was being subtle! Obviously too subtle!
Those 'Jim out, we should be in the Championship by now, club treading water, no ambition' brigade who don't accept that players think non-league teams are bigger than us... Part-time, Conference North teams are bigger than us!

Good days though

What for Carlisle playing decent football? Northern teams like Bury, Oldham and Macclesfield getting relegated and promoted? For us not playing as awfully as last season? For us not getting a Tuesday night fixture?
Hmmm...

Where we can compare like with like the gates are up. We could end the season with an average of 1,900 to 2,000 which is a huge increase which ever way you look at it compared with last season.
