Listening in sunny and warm Nerja. Hoping for three points today. We desperately need them.
Hope that the new boys slot in quickly and can get us some goals.

Nice camera angle today. Feels like we're watching from on the pitch itself.

Mingoia has looked great so far, looks like he's going to be creating good chances, which we've been sorely missing. An intelligent footballer

Defending hasn't been good enough, Halstead has already made three good saves so far.

It is a kit clash, but bizarre they let the game start. Reminds me of Swindon.

Edit: never mind, he's not changing kit. Have we run out of colours? Feels like there's a kit clash every week with the refs

What a total mess of a goal.
How can a defender not be aware of who's around him, or behind him, in his own zone.
Can't see us coming back for even a point now.

First 15-20 minutes it sounded as if were competing and in with a chance. Then it was back to the same commentary as many of our previous matches, defensive errors one after the other.
Then as you said earlier, we just don't get any good luck, and along came the injuries. It is going to take a hell of a big dose of GOOD luck to keep us in League 2!!

Really good first ten minutes, albeit without a shot on goal.
Bloody awful for the rest of the half, could easily be 0-4.

One up front on his own, doesn’t work. When we get the ball, we don’t have an ‘out’, so play a sideways or backward pass, which gives the opposition time to regroup. They break with two up front, and can do so at pace.

Don’t know how it was only five minutes added on? Halstead took three minutes to change a boot plus three or four players treated on the pitch & two substitutions.

Don't argue about it Keith....another couple of minutes and we might well have been 3 down!

Crossing and set pieces are dreadful as usual, Mingoia seems the only one capable of crossing and even his haven't found a man properly.

3-0 and probably deserved, poor defending and no chances created. Story of our season.

I'd like to see Mendes Gomez given a more free role, but I understand that Jim couldn't set up the team for him. Promising performances from the new guys, I trust they can do better against weaker teams once they're more familiar with the team.

I must admit though, this kind of lethargic performance is disappointing after an extended break.

It would help if we had more than one player in the area for him to aim at!

PENALTY!

1-3 and we made hard work of it! Bennett scored after missed penalty.

Dreadful game though

Villa got back on level terms after being 3 down last night, so there's always a chance. Still, maybe only a 0.5% chance.

He's going nowhere. He's loyal you see - to his monthly payslip!

Bentley would be doing Uber driving if he wasn't managing MFC

Nobody else would give him a job, not with his track record

He's a specialist in excuses and, ultimately, failure
