If we lose on Saturday we're back to squeaky bum time. If we win v Yeovil & Notts County, and we'll be closing in on safety. Funnily enough, if we beat MK Dons & Forest Green, but lose the other two, we'll still be worried! Two of the next four games are really important, let's hope we win the most important two!

Mmm! I've thought for a while that Notts are going down and every game they don't win now makes it harder for them. I thought Macc would pull themselves out but again draws are not enough. Yeovil at the moment are looking a good bet to be in the bottom 3.

The problem is, there's still such a long way to go. If a team goes on a run of 3 or 4 wins it turns everything on its head (eg if we'd lost against Vale and Oldham we'd be in the bottom two and vale would be 6 points ahead of us).
I think we have to prioritise the games against those around us - Yeovil (A), Macc (A), Notts (A), Cambridge (A) and Crawley (H). If we win those 5 then we'll be pretty much safe with at least 50 points.

If only it was as simple as that....this is Morecambe and we don't do things to make life easy for ourselves.
Of that little lot I'd like to think we could get 10 points but our form is so unpredictable that any predictions is purely 'wishing on a prayer' and looking at things through rose tinted spectacles.

I was alarmed when I heard Jim talking about the Yeovil match as a mustn't lose match. This sounds like he is going there to defend and hope to get a goal with a breakaway. I hope I am wrong in this assumption but I would prefer to see a starting line-up that includes Mandy , Oates , Aaron and Piero with Kevin as an impact sub.
