Which of our injured players do we miss the most?

As I only manage to watch a couple of games a year I would be interested to hear views on the above.

IMHO we are missing Fleming the most.

I second this. We simply can't afford to keep playing Cranston and Kenyon in a midfield two once Fleming comes back.

Wildig and AJ are big losses and I would like to have seen what Sinclair brought in to the team. Sam will be a loss over the coming weeks as I am not convinced by Sutton.

Without question Lavelle, Fleming, Wildig and AJ to some extent. Jagne looked more than useful from what I've seen to date.

Sinclair is unknown due to his long term injury. Hedley, although not injured should have been given some game time from the bench to see what he's made of.

Personally I don't feel we've missed Baz as Mark is more than capable of stepping into the role of No1.

Fleming had a great start to this season, but i do have doubts weather he could have maintained them perfomance levels, just look at his injury record and fitness levels throughout his career, although his injures are no fault of his own.

Sammy Lavelle for me, then we could play Sutton at R/B and then shift Mills into Midfield, he's the makings of a better Midfielder.

Sam, A-Jay definitely. Fleming in midfield is an improvement on Kenyon being there, Wildig misses too many games anyway. Our other striker i forget his name... And sammy Mac :o

Flemmo couldn't get a kick last season but did start this one well. He is decent on the ball but couldn't play the role that Kenyon attempts to. I felt Sinclair looked like he had the attributes to play that role better than Kenyon who struggles to pass or tackle

Lavelle - I don't rate Old - a centre back pairing of Sutton and Lavelle would have been good.

Wildig - yes, far too often injured, but offers the only creativity we have up front.

Roche - Halstead does OK and certainly the best sub goalie we've had in the past few years, but my personal opinion is that Barry would have saved a few that Mark has let in and Mark's goal kicks aren't particularly good.

Not convinced re Flemmo really - yes, it would have been good to have him available but he's very much a come and go player with some outstanding and some poor performances, and as said above, wasn't really played much last season.

FLEMMO defo'. Been solid for a few seasons now. Tutte and Wildig are far too brittle and miss more games than they play. In their rare cameos they have flattered to deceive but give the impression there would be no consistency if they ever got on the pitch more. Hope their contracts are up and we can ditch them both!

LAVELLE, yes an up and coming talent. He is missed. JAGNE, not sure not seen enough of him.

What is the point of this question. Surely the point is you have to pee with the willy you have. They are injured and that’s it or will a collective wishing them fit bring them back.

Maybe we've cloned Ben Hedley. If so, perhaps we could get someone at Liverpool, Everton, Shitty & Manure to get us some DNA samples - League One here we come................

Was that Kevin on the sidelines giving the lads some encouragement or was he just keeping his hands warm... :?: :?: :?:

Wouldn't surprise me if he was managing somewhere next season, for me he has all attributes to be a success...even with us.... :?: :?: :?:

Nahhhh no ex players, too much falling with Fans with each other, then being to do one and support somebody else, and they are doing.

2010 an hardcore of 1900 and then in 2019 an hardcore of 900 = thats 1000 lost fans what have done one.

I'll try and translate Neil.

I think it means that an ex player shouldn't be appointed as manager should the opportunity ever arise because said player might have friends who are fans of the club and will potentially be shot down and castigated by other fans if said fan sticks up for new manager (ex player) should things go pear shaped.

Fans of the club who are also friends of the manager (an ex player) might then be told to "cough and support another club"....

As is happening now.

Is that kind of what you were saying Andy D ?

In a season where we finished fourth we had an average of 2,262.
Last season we had an average of 1,492 finishing third from bottom.

So we've lost 770 fans. I'd bet if we were in the play offs, we'd get most of those 700 fans back.
I suspect that we had a larger playing budget in 2010 than we have now by about 40%. Let's see a substantial budget increase so we can compete with other play-off teams and see what happens.

We miss players who are solid performers consistently or those who can change games.

For me that’s Sam Lavelle (although Old and Sutton are solid enough but Sutton and Lavelle better). Also a full season of a fit Andrew Tutte would have made a serious difference. Great set pieces, creative and an eye for a through ball. Flemmo started the season well and I think would have linked up very well with the likes of Mandeville, Tutte and AJ. AJ is another one but he dropped too deep for me. Would have been good to see him supplying Ritchie Bennett instead of Vadaine though.

Where is the evidence to suggest such a drop :?:

JB's Budget is supposed to be lower than 2010 but I've seen no figures on SVs that gives the EXACT figure.

Plenty of rumours but no PRECISE figures.
