This applies to many clubs that move to new grounds. They haven't got the 'character'

No, the game you are thinking about was our inaugural Vauxhall Conference season, 1995/96.
We won 5-3 if I recall and a certain Carl Alford was in the Kettering team.
And yes, it was Kevin Shoemake. Dave Edge was instrumental in saving his life.
