Thank very much Keith for Excluding me from this site. As a loyal Morecambe supporter, Calling me a Lancaster fan is a bit below the belt. But come from a Chorley fan it's only to be expected. You may not realise it but I travel to the majority of home games.

If you are a genuine Morecambe fan then welcome to a small but happy (most of the time) band. We may not be Man United or Man City or Liverpool but we are what we are and we consistently punch above our weight.I too am a loyal Morecambe fan having watched my first game exactly 51 years ago. I grew up in the town and to be honest wished I still l lived there so I could go to every game like I used to, win , lose or draw. I moved away for work but love the Bay area and you should cherish it and realize what a beautiful area it is. Count your blessings! To have a football league team in a town the size of Morecambe is quite frankly amazing. Nurture it and it will hopefully grow. Disrespect it and it will wither away and die and it's only then you will truly appreciate what you had!

Thank you Martin.

My reply was a heartfelt response to some individuals who claim to be Morecambe fans but have a very strange way of showing it. I loved growing up in the Bay area and it's only when you're away that you really appreciate it all. There are small signs that we are on the up again such as Break the Gate and the Fans Initiative. If we all get behind it then it should gather momentum and prosper.

Amen to what you have written, Phoenix. Sadly, I fear it is Pearls Before Swine but hey ho, there's always one idiot out there who will spoil it for everybody else if they can. Shall we just ignore the sad so-and-so from now on? Or shall we just correct his spelling and obvious confusion about plurals?

please believe me that people are not trying to be vindictive on purpose. The site recently been infiltrated by people who have had all sorts differing agendas to cause trouble and offence and have used the forum to make some serious accusations without any backup that potentially put the site in hot water legally such as knight rider hence the post from Mr Potatohead. Admin especially Keith has worked his socks off making the forum a place where all can post but within the rules. The trouble with the internet and social media is that you can be whoever you want to be and no one knows the truth and the ability of hiding behind different usernames exists and that is why when posts that are a little contentious people are skeptics.
A lot of contributors to the forum are known to each other so the username is irrelevant but difficulty arises when you do not know the contributor personally. You should not have to justify yourself as having a level of learning difficulty and people should respect this but for reasons mentioned above I can see things from both sides. May I suggest that say in the last home game that the forum members meet up if they wish in the bar for a drink so we can introduce ourselves put a face to the username and make a judgement on the personality of the real person and hopefully understand where contributors are coming from better. Just a suggestion

There was once a gallery putting aliases to faces but that was in the forum's infancy and most people knew each other so, with permission, I could lift a decent photo of them out of a crowd shot and add to the gallery

Or I dreamt all that. Keith, did I dream?

Thank you for your reply. I am genuinely trying to make you understand the recent history of the forum. I can only come to the conclusion from your reply that you have been removed from the forum under a different username and have reregistered under the new username marineroadrovers which exactly promotes mistrust in you and leaves you open to questioning in sometimes I agree can be inflamitory. Please refer to my post above about hiding behind multiple usernames. I do not know Keith personally but I believe him to be an honourable man who works hard to make the forum a success. The only prerequisite is to play by the rules. If my theory is correct and I would appreciate an honest reply to this you should have done the honourable thing and accepted Keith’s decision following numerous warnings to change behaviour to remove you from the site and not simply just reregister to continue not playing by the rules. All it would have taken from you was to play by the rules in the first place and could have continued to post. It’s simple. Believe it or not people appreciate constructive conversation and that’s what make the forum interesting but deception brings nothing.

Mark... As Doonhamer said, if you keep registering new usernames, you are hardly going to be trusted.

Also, you weren't the only one doing it.

I actually have no way of knowing that this is actually you anyway.

Regardless... having a learning disability does not mean you have free reign to simply do as you want to without taking any responsibility. I've made one very simple 'rule', which you fully understand, which is if you want to post 'Jim out' repeatedly, you do it in the one thread. If you start new threads that say the same thing, they will be deleted. If you keep doing so, then you will be removed from the forum. If you have the capacity to go to games on your own etc, then you are able to understand simple instruction and rules.

And if not, you have your own Facebook page to post to.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

I asked for an honest answer for no other reason in an attempt for you to regain some credibility and you have refused to be honest. So I will ask again what username did you use when you were removed from the site.
