Don't think there's anything to worry about with Exeter in the playoffs
I think we're pretty much safe. Our form from Port Vale onwards has been incredibly good - got pointed out on Twitter that we've taken 17 points from 10 games. That kind of form over a season would give a team 78 points, which is playoff/potential automatic.
We're in excellent form and comfortably clear of the relegation zone. Yeovil are now most definitely sucked into it, and Crawley are dropping alarmingly. Hopefully a win on Saturday against Grimsby will do enough to all but certify our safety.
Fingers crossed we can keep most of this current squad together for next season. Hopefully Jim is making those contract offers and having a word in Richie Bennett's ear!

I don't think we "struggled" yesterday... whose accounts said we "struggled"? A draw was probably a fair result.
As for "not in an excellent run" comment, I'd say 'play off' form is excellent!

This gave Macc a lift and could quite easily have got another from a well worked free kick that tickled away from the post.
Lost our way a bit, but can't say we struggled. Their no.7 caused us problems, admittedly.
We looked to settle for 1.1 well before the end

Could have sworn that somebody posted that we could have been 2-1 down.....

We also had a goal disallowed for, from what I could see, a not very clear offside decision(?) It might have been clearer on iFollow?

Hope that when we are finally out of relegation danger Jim will tell the players to go for it and forget this 'settle for a draw' business. Give the fans a treat in the last few games and leave them with something to really look forward to next season.
