Some attacking options on the bench if we need a late goal.
Welcome back Vadaine Oliver.

This team looks like it has a good balance. Collins has been a bit anonymous so good to see Bennett back in and also Mandeville at times last week was running the show. Collins could be a good option to come off the bench against tired legs.

Radio Blackburn, been around the League One games. Back to talking about Blackburn & Burnley, then returning to League One games, and a bit more Accrington. Not heard the word "Morecambe" mentioned yet today.

Oh, and some cricket too.

Got to Quinny eventually!

Big game for us today. Three points and we're almost definitely safe. Lose and we're still looking nervously over our shoulders. Draw won't be a disaster... but...

Supposed to be moving in to a new house today but taking a break to watch the match. Looking good these first few minutes, hope the wind lasts until the second half when we can use it to our advantage.

If the BBC stats are correct, it all sounds rather weird.
POSSESSION:- Morecambe 70%, Grimsby 30%
SHOTS:- Morecambe 4, Grimsby 7
SHOTS ON TARGET:- Morecambe 0, Grimsby 5

Is that accurate, and if so what on earth is going on?

Oliver coming on for Bennett.

Strange decision unless it is due to fitness? Bennett has played well on his own up front. :? :? :?

Welcome back to the field of play, Vadaine.
Let's hope he can be the difference in this rather turgid stalemate.

No final ball, or the one up front is too isolated, making it easy to defend?

Freez said "you can't say we haven't got creativity on the pitch..."

So why haven't we created anything? I think one up front is too easy for them to defend against. Push someone up alongside Oliver.

Get in! A striker's penalty.
This has got to be the result that will guarantee another season in League 2.

Turgid game that would have been okay if we'd held on... but obviously we couldn't. 1-1

Flemo MotM???

Worked hard but almost every pass was sideways or backwards. I'd have gone with Mills or Conlan.

Given other results today, we must be safe. There's no way Notts County or Yeovil will win every game.

Thought Oliver was good when he came on, impressed with him. Thought Cranston for Mingoia was odd, whilst mandeville had been excellent I thought he was shattered for the last 30 minutes. Collins great as usual, should have started.

Ellison was in the right position twice but looked anonymous and Conlan was carrying him defensively.

10 points clear, 4 games left, looks good enough to me.

Back to the negative horrible football. Creative footballers being stifled by a horrible system and restrictive tactics. Bennett being replaced by V was a shocker but was always going to happen.
