Mills yellow card for another non-foul. Just watched it back again. Two poor yellow cards from Kettle.

I know we're losing, but so are Yeovil & County. IF that stays the same, we're mathematically safe, barring administration.

Kettle's not had a bad game by his own standards. Most of the Kettle comments are based upon his previous history with us. Two poor yellow cards for us (Fleming's I'd agree with) but otherwise he's done okay.

3-0 now.

Well I got what I wanted in an earlier post..V and Bennet up top together. Unfortunately it's Collins who was taken off.

Will be interesting to see if this new partnership has an impact despite the score line.

So with Barry letting in 3 goals does that mean Mark Halstead will be back in the goal on Monday ? . It only took mark to have one bad game to get him back on the bench

I some how doubt it.

Remember Crewe :?:

Baz was still in goals until his injury in October.

According to commentary, Baz wasn't at fault for the goals and he kept us in the game in the first half.

I had a chat with Dave Allison about Mr Kettle a few months back. He said everyone knows what Kettle is like.

To be fair, we could have been three or four-nil at half time if it wasn't for Baz.

Halstead made a superb stop early on against Swindon when we last conceded four. Wouldn't have put him at fault for any of the goals either - was mainly a lot of terrible defending. The only dodgy one was Swindon's fourth but that took a horrendous bounce.

Poor result today but with Yeovil and Notts County both losing, we are sure of League 2 football next season. Now let's have a great game on Monday.

Last time I went to Mansfield, it was a Tuesday night game. One of the most turgid games I'd ever seen. Both sides set up for a draw. There was one header on target, in the 92nd minute which went in, so they won 1-0 in a game neither side deserved to win!

Today, Mansfield looked like one of the best footballing sides in League Two and I hope they go up.

Not the sort of result any of us wanted, but Mansfield are obviously a quality side. They have put 4 goals past 3 of their last 9 opposition.

That aside......Yeeeeesssssssssssssss..we are, against all the odds, staying in Lge2 again.
A massive well done to all at MFC, including the very loyal supporters.
Now for 3 games of “sexy” football to see the season out.

Bad day at the office today but cause for celebration that we are able to confirm membership of the EFL for another season. Hopefully as many as possible to the Globe on Monday and let them know we appreciate their efforts in keeping us up.

We were crap today and Mansfield were all over us from the start, lucky to go in at 1.0 as Baz was in amazing form to stop it being 4, having said that he never moved for the goal and wasn't great second half when they had shooting practice.

Travelling support was brilliant beginning to end.

I wonder if this means he is dropped on Monday??
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
