End of an Era photos

End of an Era photos

Postby Brian S » Mon Apr 29, 2019 6:21 pm

Digging around for a request, I found a set of photos I'd forgotten about from the very end of Christie Park including some unique shots from across Lancaster road. Enjoy the memories and feel free to post the link on facebook, I only use it when I forget why I don't use it any more.

Fantastic. Loved the wide-angled shots in particular. Still can't believe the North Stand was reduced to rubble: biggest mistake the club ever made...

loved that place, heart and soul of the town, and Cheltenham still have the same stand as CP !

and the North Stand support was worth a goal every game

Yes, I can just about remember all the goals, scored from outside the area after people complaining we don't shoot enough from outside the box with only Mark Duffy's goal from just inside the box chipping a Goal Keeper they'd on loan from West Ham hailed as the next Petr Cech.

Interesting how Bournemouth's Fan base as trebled and more, just shows like Wigan us smaller teams can grow and mix it with the big Boyz, some of our so called positive fans should take note of this who talk down our chances if we were get promoted.

Wasn't there a penalty?

Aye, Jevons as I recall. Didn't Stanley score a rocket that day?
