I would like Jim to stay but only if he continues with the positive tactics we have seen in the last ten games or so, eg, playing with two up front has made all the difference. Let's not forget the early part of the season when Oliver was playing up front by himself, a tactic which was not working, but Jim stuck to the tactic, the football was awful to watch and we looked like we were going down. I also remember each season with Jim in charge we go through a period where the football is negative,we lose game after game and his tactics and substitutions are baffling and also let's not forget the negative radio interviews after each poor performance. Just to clarify, despite the last couple of sentences, I have a lot of respect for Jim, we all know he has no money to play with, but he does have a good record of bringing players in, just look at Bennett and Collins, two players who have saved our season. To clarify, I would like Jim to stay, but next season he must be more positive both on and off the pitch. Let's go out to win every game, no more little old Morecambe, if Accrington did it why can't we.

Agreed.
To be fair Jim sounds more positive on his latest dvd interview on the club's twitter account. He talks about wanting to be in the play-offs rather than fighting relegation. Maybe he knows something about who we may be able to retain from the current squad.
On another subject with Wrexham failing to gain promotion , Bobby Grant may become available and could be another "Jim Bentley rehabilitation mission" ?

However if you read Red Passion the Wrexham forum they don't have a good word to say about him and he hasn't really fired in the National League. No doubt he will be available shortly and Jim will probably have a good idea if there are any issues and whether he has enough to still do a job at our level nowadays.

Hardly a prolific goal scorer. But only 28 years old. If Jim felt he could be another one whose career he can save, then great, but it would be another case of Jim working wonders...

Bobby Grant isn't an out and out striker.
he's more like Mandeville, Oats, and can play in a variety of attacking roles, Ive seen him play twice, and he wins a lot of free kicks aswell as winding the opposition up, very talented!

Yes , he mentioned a payment to us for his Leeds debut which he did make and various incremental payments based on future appearances.

Every player that signs for the club cites him as being the reason. The passion and the time he puts in is unquestionable.I am not saying he is faultless I am not saying he does not deserve challenging but I feel the fact his position is questioned actually embarrassing.
Spot on
